The sad thing is that Ben was really excited about this iconic role, but the haters and the critics put him down and stressed him. But I'm still convinced that he's the best Batmam, he deserved better treatment and a first movie starring, not with Superman. There was so much potential.

After Gone Girl, I couldn't be more excited about Ben becoming Batman.
Look at his body language and facial expression back then, and look at it in his recent interviews. 4 movies coming out, directing 2 of them, writing and producing another, I think he's overworked.

I like Ben. I'll be honest: I was looking forward to see him being Batman ever since I first saw Daredevil, because I think that he can do an awesome job, at least in terms of his look. For once, I wish to see a Batman which actually looks like Batman. Everyone is concerned about the other aspects of the character, which I totally agree, but still...

David Ortiz is a phenomenal human being and a different type of player, what he's done in that position will never be done again because he did it first and did it unbelievably successfully. Jeter was a fantastic player and deserves all the accolades he received, but they're too different to say one is better. And the way Ortiz stood up for the city of Boston after the bombing makes me proud to be a Sox fan and makes me proud that he's a kind, thoughtful, and loyal person in general. They're two very solid and respectful men and they both deserve the best from what they do in life.

A lot of softballs from Jimmy ("Do you watch the show?", "Are your kids watching?", "What did you think of Jeter?" "Are your kids into sports??") and Affleck did his job and turned each one into a funny story. Everything flowed well and aside from the classic Fallon "desk slap," I really enjoyed it. Good job, guys.
It was nice to see Ben so comfortable in interviews before his split with his wonderful most kind-hearted wife. Nowadays during his recent interviews, he seems uncomfortable and quiet. Poor Ben, I just hope they get back together some time.

Honestly, I found Bale's Batman horrible due to the realism Christopher Nolan was trying to achieve in the movie. Affleck is going to do a way better job than Bale. Hell, he could even do a better job than Michael Keaton.
Christian Bale was awesome as Batman love all 3 movies i think the new onces are gona suck compared to the old ones. But thats just my opinion

wazzupH It's a matter of taste honestly, but Batman v Superman isn't technically a remake. It's somewhat of a continuation to The Dark Knight trilogy. Also, I honestly prefer Andrew Garfield as Spiderman.

I haven't heard a Boston accent in so long, my family lives in NH but I grew up in Indiana so I don't get back much and I don't hear it often, it was like music to my ears.

Bale and Heath are kind of their own thing though. Bale played probably the most realistic version of Bruce/ Batman. No cgi or anything like that. Unfortunately it's hard to show a superhero without extra effects.
Heath was his own animal. Nobody expected that kind of performance. Especially when you consider that when he was named for Joker, pretty much everyone hated it since he had just come off of Brokeback Mountain. The he ends up winning an Oscar for it.
Not saying that Affleck and Leto will be better or worse than Bale and Ledger, but they will definitely be something different.
