- Today on free plugin friday we are looking at another drum plugin this time an emulation of the Korg Mini Pops 7, a vintage drum machine from 1966 with some extra features for mixing it up and circuit bending to get interesting new tones.

This is cool but all the preset grooves sound pretty similar. What is that annoying duck sound meant to be, a hi-hat? I like the weird sounds and grooves you can make from the settings!

I like this, but of course, it does the "woke" thing of not printing to a track; you must have it playing live. But that's a "feature" common to all drum machine VSTs, meh.
Not sure which DAW you are using but most daws have some way of printing VSTs to audio pretty easily, at the very least export and import. You are right in that a lot of VSTs don't have midi export which would be nice. Even a lot of synths would be cool if the sequencers had midi export.
The designer has to program the vst to have midi out
