How To Make a YOUTUBE BANNER in Canva for FREE! | Step by Step Tutorial on Building a YouTube Banner

In this video we use Canva to show you how to make an awesome CZcams Banner with proper dimensions (all for FREE!). A proper CZcams banner let's new visitors know what your channel is all about and what to expect from your content. Having a good channel banner is one step in helping you grow your CZcams channel!
This tutorial is broken down into three easy steps:
1. Finding and Downloading a CZcams Banner Template - 0:31
This will make sure that your banner is created using the proper dimensions. Many people don't realize that the size of their banner differs based on the device their users are watching on (TV, Desktop, Tablet, Mobile Device). So it is really important to keep different portions of your banner within the correct viewing dimensions.
2. Uploading and Setting up the template in Canva - 1:12
To make things a little bit easier, we load the template into Canva and use the ruler feature to mark all the dimensions on our Canvas. This step will ensure that we stay within those dimension as we start getting creative with our banner creation.
3. Building your Banner! - 2:29
This is the fun part! You get to be creative and play around with all the features Canva has to offer. We highly recommend testing and trying a few different options to find the perfect banner for you and your channel. There are some key peices of information you'll want to include in your banner: a picture of yourself, your name or your channel name or even your logo, text or elements telling viewers what kind of videos they may find on your channel, how frequently you post videos, and lastly and optionally a call to action.
