    I have never left a comment on a video before but needed to let you know that these are meaningfully helping me in my studio, as they likely have for countless other self-taught artists. i imagine it's taken a lot of effort from you to create them, thank you so much.

    sir well your video is good for me for taking a course in VGA thanks sir. sir but can i have a question? in this episode i am concerning about style why style is not the part of visual element? or will you please give me some idea in graphics design what is the different between style and type or typography which is that is the given name. thank you a lot sir if you have a comment just send me in my email awardex@gmail.com or even if you can comment her

    • @GarethDavidStudio
      @GarethDavidStudio  Před 7 lety +1

      Put simply 'Style' is not an element. Style is a mixture. A style is created when elements such as colour, type, and shape come together to form a mixture. The look and feel of the overall elements together creates a style.
      A typeface, for example, is a style, a mixture in itself. It's the individual shapes that form the character of the individual letterforms of the font. So a typeface is a style, but of course, it can go further.
      When color is applied, a new level of style is applied. When texture is applied another level of style is applied. Mix that type with an image, and a more complex style is created.
      In Desing, we mix and match elements together to create an overall aesthetic, right for a particular visual solution.
