Hey mate great video. I got myself a Ruipro 8k 20m HDMI 2.1 cable after watching this video. I've been testing the cable on my LG CX for the last couple of days and haven't had any issues so far ( I have the "C" variant). Are you also using the 20m cable? Would there be less latency if I was to use the 15m cable for example? Also what is the best way you've found to run games on your LG TV? I'm having issues constantly running back and forth trying to get the games to run on my LG CX as a secondary display. Can you please walk me through what is the most seamless way to achieve this couch gaming experience.
Do you for example, run steam big picture mode on your primary display and then send the image to display 2 (LG CX)? I've been using an Xbox wireless controller and I've noticed some delay/drop outs since the pc is in another room. Thinking I might also need to get the USb extender to solve my issues.
Please just give me a quick run down of how you get everything up and running.

Hey, glad you found the video useful! I would say the usb extender is a must. I have an Ethernet cable going from my office to the living room. The usb extender has two boxes, one for the pc end and one for the TV end, the Ethernet cable plugs into both boxes and a USB cable goes from one box into the pc. The other end has an Xbox controller wireless adapter and 3 other spare ports for a wireless mouse. This is a very reliable way to have low latency, it's just like having the pc in the living room. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any more questions.

Hey, thank you! I actually am interested in doing something similar. I also need to bypass a distance of around 15-20 meters and am currently searching for a HDMI2.1 cable capable of sending 4k@60hz with HDR and later same resolution with 120hz when my wife and I decide to replace the TV.
I also need the USB stuff, but I figured a fiber optic 20m USB3.0 cable will get the job done, though I've read these don't support hubs.

Bullet Train...far superior especially the AOC fiber. I did 2x so can play on either of my LG C3s, but the cables alone were $750/ea. And instead of doing direct attach usb extenders, I did usb over IP via Digi USBAnywhere +. I may upgrade to the ICRON Raven 3-2-1 but that is $1500/per and I need 2 and those are also direct attach just like the video. Luckily I already ran 8 pairs of Single Mode OS2 fiber to all my rooms, plus 4 Cat 8 ethernet to my IDF, so this means I could join any pair to reach any room via direct attach.

I am in similar situation, but with this amount of money required to invest why not buy Xbox series S?

Because if you already have decent pc, the games will run and look better than on xbox series S and if you already own them on pc then you would have to buy them again on xbox unless youre using gamepass.

God it sucks thay these cables are so expensive. It hurts me to spend 100+ dollars on an hdmi cord.

I know, usually expensive cables make no difference but the tech in these cables are vital for long range use cases.

This video has a paid promotion (free sample) but, even if it wasn't free I would still recommend it for this niche

this video is really hard to follow.
the goal is not immediately clear, but instead spread out over the first few minutes.
the solution approach is not clear, but instead spread out over the entire video.
you should state the goal and the solution approach directly and clearly in the beginning. then you can do into the details using simple sentences.
too many chapters, too many tangents, too many long nested sentences.
