- Yo what's up guys! Who doesn't love some simple GoPro footage of the best features on an awesome trail. Well that's what's in this video - no more, no less. Hope you enjoy watching me shred my 2021 Canyon Stoic 2 at The Trails @ Andrews (Andrews University)!
My name's Tyler and I love mountain biking! I live in the Midwest United States (not typically known for great MTB riding) and I want people to know that us riders here in the Midwest are awesome too! We don't need huge downhill trails to have a good time! I just got a brand new 2021 Canyon Stoic 2, and this bike has got to be the best hardtail of the year! At least for the price. So I'd at least say the best budget-friendly hardtail of the year! I'm stoked to be able to share it with you guys. I'm also stoked to ride it this summer and let you guys know how it goes!
If you enjoyed this video free to like, comment, and subscribe. I really like making these videos and would be so pumped if the channel grew!
If you live in Southwest Michigan/Northwest Indiana (or really anywhere in the Midwest) let me know. I’d love to hear about any awesome mountain bike spots that you know of.
Cheers!
Tyler

Love from germany
Thanks man! Love from Indiana!
Did you convert yours to a tubeless setup?
Awesome! I'll have to try it sometime!
Yes you will! It's THE BEST! :D
sick video man! my stoic should be arriving in August im stoked!!!!!
Thanks man! That's awesome! I'm stoked for you!!!!
Amazing content! Keep it up!
Thanks so much man!
The bike is so goooood! Huge upgrade from my 26er. Btw what pressure did u use for the fork?
Awesome man!! Yea same here! My old 26er feels so weird now. I tried the fork around 92 and that was good but I recently adjusted the pressure down to 85 PSI and I’m liking that a lot better. I’m 180 lbs if that helps.
Does the cables slaps in the frame.. better question : can you hear the cables in the frame ? ps: nice Video! :)
Yea that slapping is the dropper cable that I routed internally. I’ve really gotta get it fixed but haven’t had the time! I found a bunch of easy fixes by searching on YT.
And thanks for watching!
@@MidwestMountainBike oh ok thanks. :)
This week I saw a stoic in the bike park and it looked very good irl I hope they ones is back in stock soon everytime one bike comes in stock im in school and when I come home it's already gone
For sure, I wasn’t sure about the white color but it looks awesome in person. Yea it’s hard to get one but if you go on Canyon.com and get on their email notification list for this bike you’ll get an email as soon as they come in stock. Hopefully that will help - good luck man!!
Sshheeeessshhhh from albania
Cheers from Indiana, US!!!
How did you put in the dropper post?
It’s actually not too bad, you just feed the housing cable down through the hole at the front of the frame, it will go out near the bottom bracket pretty easily. The trickiest is part is then to turn the housing cable and feed it back up the seat tube. Then just feed the brake cable through the housing and you’re set. Good luck!!
make a review with the nukeprrof scout!
Dude that’s an awesome idea! That’s my brother-in-laws bike, so he and I will make a full review of the Scout soon!
@@MidwestMountainBike yeiii
Hello, what is the size of the bike and your height? otherwise I doubt m or l. ps my height is 183 cm
Hey, thanks for watching! I’m about the same height as you and went for the size Large. I’m really happy with the size.
Is this bike used for touring or long journey ?? How about comfort ?
The longest ride I’ve done in a day is about 16 miles, so I’m not the best person to ask =] I can say the bike is really pretty comfortable and the geometry is good for long rides. I would probably upgrade the saddle and grips though if I was gonna do really long rides. Hope that helps!
@@MidwestMountainBike How about the suspension in the bike? Does it observe the shocks, bumbs correctly ?
How are you able to get your hands on a Stoic 2 in the USA?! I have been watching for stock and signed up for email alerts since the product was announced. All I’ve seen are demo reviews. Has anyone legitimate consumer been able to purchase this bike?
Hey Kevin, yea I'm just a regular consumer - not sponsored or endorsed or anything like that - at least not yet!! haha. I did the same as you, I signed up for the email alerts and then ordered it as soon as I got the email. That was back in March. It was sold out again by the next day which is crazy. I really hope you can get your hands on one man. Wishing you the best!
Where did you buy this bike?
I just ordered it on the Canyon website. Thanks for watching!
Sorry but now1 can see anything when your riding the camera…. Its… bad. Really bad. Pls buy a new one ;)
Try change the definition
Haha, I don’t disagree with you! I’m saving up for a new GoPro but I’ve got a ways to go. I spent all my $$ on this bike! Lol
I have the very first GoPro ever from like 10 years ago. This is the highest setting it has lol. It doesn’t have any stabilization either
@Midwestmountain… yes its okay… im saving up allll my money for tht bike too
Nice man! I hope you can get it soon!!
