No, not really.
Razor is also a claymore like eula, which means a lot of hit lag, which means that the atk speed is not very effective. It's even worse for razor since he already buffs his own atk speed.
There's also the fact that more of razor's damage comes from electro compared to eula. Which means that mika buffs less of razor's damage compared to eula.
@@q_key466 Not really, Razor's damage depends on your build. You can either build him more towards electro dmg or phys damage. Mine was focused on phys damage and the electro from the wolf spirit was just bonus shred from superconduct.
Razor's phys damage will always be lower than Eula since she is the queen of phys damage but Razor is probably second best character for it given his attack speed boost and multipliers.

And idk but this screams "I haven't used Yun Jin with Razor", Razor still benefits from atk speed even if he buffs his own
The best and worst part of Mika is that he didn't come with Eula, so while there's a possibility that he'll be showing up more often which means easier constellations, the one person he's supposed to be a buffer for might come out without him, so you'll need to whale on a character banner you may not want just to get both Mika and Eula.
No, it's just that they replaced shenhe with eula. It was time for eula banner. It's very long.
Eh, Shenhe is a really good support for Eula too, so I'd say her banner is a good for someone aiming to build a Eula team.

It's weird that Mika can get full stacks of buff only against a crowd of enemies. Quite often you're either against a bunch of trash mobs, or one chunky enemy. However, trash mobs go down quickly with or without a buff, and it's the damage sponge single targets that warrant getting full buff the most.
Right?! Like it should be reversed. Full stacks against a One boss enemy and the 10%-20% against enemy mobs. That way it gets increased as the enemy mob dies.
They added that limitation simply to spite him it seems lol. Mika would be a good not great support if he didnt need to hit multiple enemies for his max potential. Freeing up bennett has always been a plus for end game content since hes just so versatile, but of course all new supports have to be cons locked

Tbh that's not the worst part...its the fake ass drop rates like idc no one can convince me that between the 3 4 stars in each banners the percentage of getting them is equal...what are the chances of pulling 60 pulls and all of the 4 stars are Barbara happened to me million of times in yelan banner got from no ninguang to c5 ninguang with 120+ pulls and 1 xingqui and 2 beidous happens on noelle banners and fishcl/sucrose banners too.. seems like u can never get the busted 4 stars for some reason.

Planning to pull for him for my normal attack speed team since I main wanderer and Ayato, adding him with yunjin and maybe jean. Idc about the physical bonuses or his damage being lackluster. I want my DPS to go BRRRRR with 45-57% attack speed from cons of other characters

I'm having a blast buffing atk spd for my Ayato.
C4 Ayato (+15% atkspd)
C5 Mika (+25% atkspd)
C6 Chongyun (+8% atkspd)
C6 Yun Jin (+12% atkspd)
Totaling +60% atkspd (max limit at +63%)
And on top of that, the team synergizes so well!
Can also swap Chongyun for C6 Noelle for fun lol.
In terms of damage is not worth, but hey the fun u'll got is unmatchable
This kit _screams_ Yoimiya support (especially with Yelan or Xingqiu in tow). Like she's already a gattling gun, this would make her E pump out _even_ more Pyro damage. Even though it almost certainly won't increase vap damage because of ICD, this will still be really amazing for her.
i guess Mika is the replacement for those who c6 their benny, or for me the main selling point of mika is his talent to mark mond's speciallity material.

Before I got Ayaka, I ran physical Rosaria which was super fun to me, hope Mika can make that build good as well!

That honestly is my biggest gripe against Mika! It's not that this banner doesn't make sense for him, it's that he supports a mechanic that Mihoyo obviously is trying to get rid of or will probably never touch for the rest of this game's life span. I think Mihoyo dabbled into the Physical mechanic in the early stages of the game because content aka the spiral abyss wasn't that tough, now physical is just garbage. The mechanic itself is so bad that for an example Eula doesn't even need superconduct because she already caps out the physical res shred with her own passive. The only way you can improve phys is by reducing the hit lag of characters because attackspeed is already a capped out mechanic. The whole idea of phys is just so poorly design that most people who want mika for eula can probably already clear the spiral abyss with Eula without him. purely on number, its like saying oh I can hit 3Million with her burst to I can hit 3.1Million... just doesnt make sense
Physical damage outside of eula is bad, not so bad that it cant complete abyss but quite simply no where close to Eula's level. While it is true Eula doesnt have the fastest abyss runs, she still clears abyss with ease high investment or not, she is considered one of genshin's most Broken units for a reason. Also yes it is true Eula shreds for 25% most enemies have 10 to 15% physical resistance and negative physical resistance on enemies are reduced by half but this isnt really a bad thing because having an enemy suffer with negative resistance will boost your overall dps greatly. It's sad we havent gotten a physical support electro unit yet though.

Literally everything I’ve heard about Eula states she’s mid, not one of the most broken units in the game. I think every unit can clear abyss with high investment, but it doesn’t really make them broken. Eula is not broken, she’s perfectly balanced.

21% atk spd is the highest in the game. (Jean c2 15%, Yun Jin 12% (only normals) Chongyun 8% (only normals)

If you take Yoimiya with C5 Yun Jin and compare it with C6 Yun Jin it's a huge DPS gain. about three times more than you would get from 12% pyro dmg bonus and 5 times more than you would get from 12% ATK
And issue as well for Mika is his C6 only buffs the active character Soo eula mains can't use the switch detonate mechanic where u switch character for early detonation of Eula's burst.
how come? eula's burst damage depends on the amount of stacks you get after it's activation, so you need eula to be onfield before its detonation in order to build up that damage. The switch detonate is only used when the enemy has already little hp left and you wanna see the burst explode before the enemy is gone. Even so, the burt detonate would still benefit from buffs as the stacks benefit from it.

-Eula's burst detonates after 8 seconds
-Bennett's burst lasts 8 seconds
-You have to use Bennett's burst before Eula's if you want her to exploit his buff, meaning it will expire before burst detonates, thus you have to switch off of Eula a little early so the burst explotion benefits from Bennett's attack buff

@@vukkicos5688 I think you pulled that 8sec benny burst duration out of your ass, it was always 12sec and Benny's buff also lingers for like a second after the field expires or leaving the field so you got plenty of time. I think the only real purpose of early detonation is to hit the enemy asap when you know they're gonna jump out of range (I'm looking at you, Magu Kenki)
I don't care about his physical buffs, I just want him for his healing and speed boost. That, and so I can complete my boy shorts team! (Wanderer, Xingqiu, Bennett, Mika)

Physical got boosted for what it's already good against. Human targets, which are weak by 20% to physical damage, and usually come in pairs.
This is something I keep in mind when considering when I pull out Eula to begin with. I mostly only pull her out for these situations. Sucks for others that want to use her though in spiral for decent fights, but struggle to get their team to work in time for 36 stars.

22% atk spd is barely recognized. With him and yun Jin, (especially c6 yunjin), he makes for a damn good support for AA characters with no attack lag, like yoimiya or wanderer

I don’t have many spears, but one I have is Missive Windspear. It doesn’t look like it will help him, but it looks so fun on him!
The physical DMG on humanoid enemies varies cus of how the physical res work on them the less the physical res they have the less dmg u deal like if EULA does 3k DMG on eremites with mika buff she does like 5-6k DMG on enemies with higher physical res like ruin gaurd etc.the way it works it kinda funny & sometimes confusing u can check this out on yt there are more theory crafting one's like this

One hundred percent Mika isn’t a dedicated buffer for Eula. Most likely more of a general physical buffer, maybe better buffer for someone like Varka in the future? But it’s nice that now, at least physical users got a buff, even if it wasn’t insane.
the duration of his buff exceeds eula's burst, he buffs attack speed to increase her stacks, he buffs physical damage, he also heals so he's versatile enough to not feel forced onto any team and serves multiple purposes. procs lots of particles, provides cryo resonance makes use of fav lance, he's canonically her right hand man within the knights of fav.

@@danieljohn6106 Well of course, given that he is a physical dmg buffer, they made him in mind with Eula, like they did Faruzan and Xiao. I just said his whole kit doesn't revolve around Eula, like many people expected. I mean, his atk speed bonus might as well have been something else that could have significantly improved Eula's nuke dmg, and while he does improve that part of her kit, it isn't as much as most people expected, even at C6.
Also, I never said "mika wasn't made for eula" (don't know where that quote came from), I simply stated "he isn't a dedicated buffer for Eula." He was created with the general archetype of physical carries in mind, not just Eula herself. Unlike how Kujou Sara is more of a dedicated Raiden buffer than a general buffer for electro carries. I mean, imagine if she worked well with Cyno.

Mika's Phys Buff is almost a diminishing return for Eula, and Atk Spd is an illusion on Claymore users because it only ups their animations the hitstun isn't affected, so you can only get around 2 hits during the speed boost. And yes he generates a fair amount of particles but his skill has a 15 second cooldown so you won't be getting a lot out of it for his own AND Eula's energy hungry bursts.
Also he works under Varka not Eula, Eula just looks out for him as his superior, where did you get the info that she's his right hand from? None of his stories mention her they all talk about Varka.
Have you actually used him? I have. I went from Eula's 30K damage to 30.1K. Oooo, what a boost. He's not built for her, that's practically an easily provable fact, why are you so upset?
It's okay if you wanna use him. Don't make shit up to validate it. It's okay if your playstyle is suboptimal. It's a single player game. No one gives a fuck (well they SHOULDN'T but this is the genshin community you people get personally offended when someone says Diona's healing isn't great).
Recently I just found out that those weapon-procced damage can be buffed by physical damage. So yeah I'm planning a physical catalyst build with my R10 Eye of Perception alongside Mika :D

It's a shame that clam set's damage doesn't get affected, otherwise he might unironically become a decent offstage physical sub-DPS, providing physical damage buff, and also being cryo, meaning he can superconduct for physical shred, which does affect clam set damage

I was so lucky that I got him yesterday on my first try. I was also surprised to know that he is Huffman's little brother, not to mention that he can detect nearby flowers when he is in the party.

because Eula will have to play an important role in the Summer event and that is when her re-run will make sense
Important note to Eula mains, Mika's buff only applies to ON FIELD character. So if you trigger Eula's buff using swap there will be no buff at all. Its ironic since C6 Eula would be the one to utilise swap on burst.
I don't really think c6 eula havers need any more buffs to their broken burst 😅

Maybe he's supposed to work around a quick swap Shenhe team, for all the Cryo characters who don't have cryo infusion.

I have a c0 Mika at lvl 70 but I already love pitting him in my Ayaka team as replacement for Shenhe. The Cryo resonance is achieved and my Ayaya can just go WHOOSH WHOOSH with her cryo infusion attacks. It's so fun! The fact he's adorable too is a huge plus in my book.

Mika can heal only in burst and must attack enemy to trigger his heal, he is a support class not a healer class.. if you want a healer class then wish and get Barbara/Kokomi/ or Qiqi..

I'm just going to get Shenhe. If he comes along meh. he can be a back burner character. First off my Eula has a C6 Rosaria and a Raiden for physical boost plus Zhongli's 20% resistance shred while sheilded... Why I don't use Bennett... I don't have a place for him in physical. Mika's buff doesn't matter if the enemy has alot of physical resistance by default. He's a Niche character for me. What about Razor.... Yeah I have C6 Bennett partner him in his abomination/oooo pretty colors reaction team comp. Plus Eula upstaged him in terms of easy physical damage. He's much harder to build for physical damage and he's C6. While a C0 Eula with a Skyward pride do more damage that him. I don't have Wolve gravestone or her BIS weapon. So yeah... If she can do that for less than Razor... Eula will be the only good pick for physical. Plus Razor's new team comp. Is much more forgiving. All he need to have is huge EM stat with good crit stats and atack stats and he's golden. I use a c5 Aquamarine on Razor in this comp... So yeah.. he's part of my back up roster teams.
Its kinda annoying that his buff works so much better against multiple enemies, while the hardest thing to clear in abyss tends to be boss's anyway and abyss is the only place good damage even matters. Especially sincer buffers like Gorou/Benny are just in good in either situation.
I mean outside of the og 4stars they have been mainly been forcing people to get c6 for 4 stars to get the most out of them.. so it comes to no surprise that u have to get his constellations
Well I have a Shenhe, Ganyu and a Eula was going for an Ayaka to finish of the cryo ladies. Expecting to get a couple of constellations along the way. Pulled Ayaka in my first 10 pull from 0 pity and had to win my 50/50. Was really hoping he'd make save Physical guess I'll just save my Primos

The way I see it is he helps out our dedicated phys damage dealers and will now make it so other nice phys character options are more successful. Plus he heals, not bad mika, not bad

I was hoping him to affect Cryo a bit more to the enemies, therefore could build a team with Xingqiu (regardless knowing he’s a physical support cuz he’s Cryo and can heal)
Just use Qiqi. Also heals, her E also has a bit of aoe, and applies cryo often enough to permafreeze most enemies. Will require a r5 sac sword to maintain full uptime tho

His ascension materials and skill level up materials make no sense. Mihoyo needs to stop releasing characters and giving them latest boss materials, moreover, I believe they need to region lock the materials for the characters ascensions with the exception of some lore-wise circumstances
My wanderer or Ayato would be sick if Mika would somewhat buff elemental dmg as well. Ill use him for his atk speed bonus I guess
Most people don't know, those atk speed bonus is useful for Eula stack Lightfall dmg bonus
For me personally I really do not care about Mika's kit I just want him for his exploration talent as I do not want to be forced to get Klee just to have that talent

@@ig_arisu Thanks for that. I stopped playing a couple of weeks ago because I just needed a break. Logged in today and it still hasn't been updated yet. I'm glad I got a bunch of characters in the last 6 months so.. Even for a four star he just sounds clunky and not worth the trouble

Ngl but it just looks like they are running out of ideas for introducing new game mechanics and I wonder what are they gonna do with the future characters I don't watch leaks so I don't know about Baizhu or Kaveh😶

My nephew has been a big Genshin fan since it's release but I couldn't help noticing that so many characters played so similarly and the move sets are just very very limited. I haven't had access to old characters I'm so recent but my main goal is to find or use characters that have different play styles. Any perks that need a paragraph or two of explanation I just simply don't bother. Characters have a combo and two other moves. Like their blueprint is so simple I don't understand why they are now running out of ideas.
The most obvious thing they can do is start making characters that have completely different playstyles. Or use the skills button to activate various specials instead of only one. I mean they have options it's just about what they want to do at the end of the day.

He's not "Weird" and he makes sense. He's a multipurpose support that isn't just viable in Physical Teams, but also AtkSpeed Teams where he plays a key role in.
Mika provides 22% AtkSpeed at Skill Lv 10. (By getting C5 the talent increases to Lv13, so you end up with 25% if C5 is acquired.) This is an amazing amount, considering it's the biggest AtkSpeed increase a Character Grants thus far (C2 Jean Provides 15%, C6 YunJin provides 12%, and Chongyun Provides 8%).
The fact that Mika's Skill is what provides this effect is also super amazing, since that means Mika isn't Burst centric in his AtkSpeed Teams, which is an amazing added benefit for Overworld and makes building him in general much easier.
Mika's Burst is also made perfectly for AtkSpeed/NormalAttacking teams, since it not only heals the team on initial cast, but also occasionally heals when hitting opponents with NAs.
He'll be a perfect slot in NA/AtkSpeed teams with his amazing AtkSpeed buff and Healing. I'll be pairing him with my Ayato/Scaramouche, and in the future I'll be pairing him with Yoimiya. I already have C2 Jean and C6 YunJin, so I've been so excited once I found out that Mika, a character I already really liked, happened to be bringing a Kit that perfectly slots into the 4th slot that our AtkSpeed Teams needed to fill. AtkSpeed Teams are easily some of the most fun teams in the game since they are so satisfying to play.
Turning Ayato into a madman slashing everything at lightning speeds, or Yoimiya into the most deadly machine gun possible, is a team type that never gets stale, at least for me personally. Mika's available AtkSpeed Teams will also inevitably grow as the game progresses, since we'll continue to gain more AtkSpeed loving characters that'll appreciate what Mika brings to the table.
pretty sure his speed bonus will mess up yoimiya's vapes. For Ayato other supports are way better. But yeah I'll definitely try Ayato/Yoi with Mika and c6 yunjin for funsies, too.
Yea except you could run someone like Yunjin/Yelan/Xingqiu in that last spot and get a ton more value, damage and utility-wise, than just 3 additional basic attacks
So long story short Bennett is still the best, most reliable and not dependant on amount of enemies, way easier to build, less con dependant and people already most likely having him built, really sad to see them butcher Dehya and now Mika, really worried about future characters
I use him in Ayaka team, pretty fun with the speed atk buff
Mika is so fun to play and can both battery, heal, and that speed buff isn't impressive but I love using it with Ayato.
Idk about Mika being useless at C0. People told Kuki was bad, and useless, and now she is one the fundamental member of my party. She's very good with dendro, maybe Mika will se more use, when Fontain characters come out.
SO DISAPPOINTED.. Worst dedicated support ever. Physical DID NOT NEED A HEALER. Why in the world would you give every single element an aggressive dedicated support, but then ruin the weakest physical with a weak healer. We needed a DEFENSE SHREDDER, instead of healing. We needed PHYSICAL FARUZAN, not a double dipping HEALER who just so happens to be a little bit of a physical support on the side.
Why XIAO got the most perfect support he could ever ask for, But then Eula mains got shafted. Us Eula mains waited THIS long to be punched in the face with a healer while Xiao mains have a time of their lives. Biased favoritism.
Oh and guess what? Against single target, less buff. :))) what kind of logic is THAT. Just so they could accomodate that janky crossbow gimic they ruined our buffing potential.....NO OTHER dedicated support gives a smaller buff based on enemies, They just press a button and get a buff, simple.... AND BTW there is a thing called Hitlag that makes Attack speed USUELESS on claymore characters..... What the......
This is genshin you’re not allowed to be disappointed or dislike a character or else the hoyoknights and simps will come after you
i havent used my xinyan in a while, i think it'd be fun to raise mika and see what dmg they do together
i'm a physical xinyan main, i love her. Mika's base kit won't be too great for her as DPS xinyan usually uses charge attacks (which won't recieve the attack speed buff), but for her sup-DPS burst swap build, c6 mika would be great! ...if you get c6 haha.
i got him c2 so far and I’m really hoping to get him C6 by the end of the banner plus in doing so I’ll likely end up getting another ayaka constellation making her c2…. just picked up Shenhe so Yah I hope it all happens and then I save my primos for 6 month to a year :) while I decide who to finally whale on… maybe the pyro archon.
Ahh yes, HoYoverse's flawless design streak keeps going up. Imagine having a talented team that is totally held back by HoYoverse's greed so that characters like Mika can be just designed as whaling bait for people KEKL The more I play this game, the more I see this game has never been out for us to have fun instead just a cash cow...

The only thing stoping you from having fun in single player game is your online insecurities and unreasonable expectations. Don't forget whaler is also important for funding future content, if whale experience and budget experience is the same, no one will bother to whale. Just don't forget about this.
I found it ironic y'all called the company greedy when it's actually all you budget players whose being greedy and basically wants the same experience as a whale, "I should have every character exist and all of them must be busted 😜"

I recognize I am expecting way too much from a small indie, billion-dollar, company that barely has a full dev team to work on such a small project as Genshin Impact. I also understand that my contributions of roughly 20k over the last two years have been well used to bring the best gaming experience I could have ever wished for.
thing is they failed in even that. whales do not want mika. The simple fact that you cant quick swap and keep the physical buffs killed his worth to Eula whales. He won't be run in damage per screenshot builds or speedruns over benny
Yeah Mika sucks. Honestly whoever designed the 3.5 characters needs to be fired. They are terribly designed.

7:00 I was thinking that maybe when I eventually get Mika, I could C6 my Bennet. but with this information, I will NEVER C6 my Bennet. I use Skyward Pride(ER weapon) and her best weapon if I want to upgrade is SBP so both will give result similar to Beacon or worse since SBP also grants physical damage bonus
we need a berserker set that we lose hp to gain dmg this way we can keep doing damage with 4 clam set

Do ya'll know that Shehne's first kit design idea was a physical polearm dps? Her then weapon was the most busted physical polearm weapon. High base atk stat. Crit dmg 2nd stat. Consecutive attack will increase physical dmg dealt. Using skill increases any dmg dealt.
Then they realized physical polearm will be too op. So they made her a support.
The moment I got him I put him in a team with Wanderer just so I can have attack boost team. Will try him with Ayato soon but I'm probably just gonna sit with C2 since I am now guaranteed and at 72 pity.
This 2.5 second cool down is starting to become a trope in mihoyo
