Be shatter.... When your father is still alive... But feel every word said 😢😢😭😭

Strangely..... I'm my father's first born and only daughter..... we don't have much of a bond. I'm 15 years old
Other's say I look like my father...I look like my mom😅....
My father tells and brags to his friends and colleagues about how hard I work in school. How intelligent and good I am. How proud he is that I'm not like other teen girls my age...
... he tells them... he laughs with them....
Butwhen he comes home he is just quiet...silent. I don't know much about him.... bc we don't share a strong bond. But it does hurt when a stranger has seen my father smile and laugh and happy more than his own daughter....

Alzheimer’s will soon take me out my Fathers memory. He is a great man. He Achieved things he wasn’t supposed to. But his achievements didn’t include being a faithful husband. I am my father in many ways. I followed so many of his footsteps. But I won’t let myself make the same mistakes he made. I’ll love my wife and child and do everything I can to keep our family whole. I love my Father, for all his lessons, good and bad, but mostly I just love my Father and hope he never forgets. But when he does it’s ok. I’ll remember for the both of us.
