I don’t know how you got footage of Ryan so calm, he’s usually way angrier
Im guessing he promised him brownies...
Now this is Trent. Doing a cooking tutorial with funny skits on the side. I wish you could do more content like this. haha
I want Trent to do "MrBeast style content"
@Joel-Haver omg Joel noooooo!!! You will ruin this precious bean! Haha 😄
@@Joel-Haverhe needs to be careful tho. Mr Beast has been known to steal people's ideas
I think I like it better with a half cup of skits mixed into the dough, rather than setting the skits to the side. Then when you pull the brownies out of the oven, the skits are all melts inside the brownie. 😋 mmmmmmm
But I don’t know. Maybe you’re onto something. Like if you put the skits to the side in a bowl, you could melt them and then dip the brownies into them. That would be really good, too.
@@Joel-Haverthat’d be insane-o style
The main ingredient here is Ryan's yelling and the pressure he was putting on Trent.
Ryan is a good boy, he would never yell
Not without cause.
This will impact my entire day. I won't rest until I eat a brownie.
Such dedication to friendship, fandom, & really yummy brownies. Three eggs optional. Cigarettes for decorative purposes only. Yes chef!
haha ryan screaming at you the whole time is a great touch, love this!
A neat trick with cracked eggs,
You can actually put it in water and see if it floats or sinks. If it sinks then it's okay to use :)
If a friendship is cracked then I sadly don't know any tips :(
You put your friend in water and if they float the friendship is okay
@@ghostsyynx and they're a witch, win-win
I can’t wait for someone it look up how to make brownies and find this
‘Apparently I wasn’t doing it fast enough, though’ 😂
I was sous for a fine dining kitchen, which we could have had our Michelin if we opted to pay for it. I left that kitchen to run a restaurant that someone in my fire depts family owned. It was painful, moving from the top of the game where people know their duties and earn the respect, moving to a place where people don't give a care and are sloppy. I watched the first couple episodes of the bear, and it was way too close to home. That was my life until I finally left, because that last kitchen beat all of my passion out of me.
You were sus? Im glad you were able to move past that dark part of your life!
@Dumb_Furry_UwU thanks. And sous is the position that's right under head chef. Sous does all the hard work, and gets none of the recognition lol.
When you wait for the punchline but just end up learning usefull things
I didn't think this was going to be a normal-normal cooking video, but I didn't think it'd be a howtobasic video either, so I wasn't sure where this video would fall on the normal-to-howtobasic scale, but I think it achieves the right balance.
If you told 10 year old me that he'd be watching Trent Lenkarski make brownies and get yelled at on 7/29/2023 at 10:00am on a Saturday he'd 100% believe you.
I have no idea how this video doesn't have a trillion views, it's so good.
You managed to stack the eggs! It was an emotional rollercoaster as you was attempting it; "is he going to do it?! Yes!!!!"
I agree and admit that I felt the same way. Except that is probably how one of those four eggs got cracked and so caused the brownies to be less potentially fluffy
Oyster brownies sound like a great experiment! 👍
But only half a cup of oyster though. Wouldn't want to overpower the chocolate right?
@@zalafinari genius! The chocolate can never be overpowered.
Sometimes just because we could, doesn’t mean we should.
I didn’t yell at all, you told me to act like i was yelling
Fantastic, I was sad, but now I'm way less sad, thanks Trent and Ryan.
When Ryan screams I smile
There is one ingredient you didn't mention, but also put in everytime☝️
~✨️love✨️~
That can be the optional ingredient if you like. But only half a cup of "love" should be added.
I'd like to add three things to this that I do when making brownies: floating eggs to make sure they're still good (they're bad if they float but should be fine if they sink), cracking eggs in a cup/bowl before putting them in the mixture to prevent eggshells from getting in there and making sure they're not bad even if they sink but you couldn't tell for sure, and coating the bottom of the pan with a thin layer of cocoa on top of the butter. The egg-related stuff is actually what I do whenever making anything with eggs in general. Never thought about using butterscotch chips together with chocolate chips in brownies, that sounds good. I can confirm that salted butter is fine in them (at least what I have), as that's what's at my house.
Something I like to do is melt some chocolate and then use the spatula to sorta make ribbons in the brownie pan. Then you put in almost all of the chocolate chips, and then when you take the brownies out of the oven, sprinkle some more chocolate chips on top. Then you have three different types of chocolate in the brownies.
You've perfected this style Trent, just as you've perfected those brownies! 😋
4:38 - mmm. Nothing gets the belly rub going like brownies 😋
That is the funniest cooking tutorial I have ever watched. One corner piece, please (^#@!*&!!!).
Mm imagine chocolate brownies with lots of Mayo inside. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm. Imagine biting into it. 😊
Sorry for the nitpick here, but seeing you combine wet/ dry ingredients together before incorporating them separately made me hurt. But whatever the style, glad they were good!
That’s a really good point! I usually do that, it just completely slipped my mind this time
(Or maybe it was cause of all the yelling)
After care is incredibly important after a long session of intense Roleplay
Thank you for the guide, Trent. Gonna whip up some brownies soon and now I’m sure they’ll be really good.
Ryan is so cool
Brilliant production.
what..?? how does this doesnt have 1 millions likes or sum??
im getting depressed watching your channel. youre so good you need more views!
that's really cool how you could reenact the swearing show while baking brownies! that must've been exciting!
Ryan really seemed to calm down after he pretended to smoke. He must pretend to smoke like 2 packs a day.
I like this one a lot!
This is way better than the show by far. I don't think he needed to apologize but that's OK I guess...
I found it funny that he yelled at you for melting the butter in the microwave to slow. Microwaves are always the same speed, 2 minutes is 2 minutes, it cant be faster
they do have different watts. microwaves can cook faster or slower
For melting butter it’s best to use the low power setting if you can.
You did an excellent job baking those brownies, all while your friend was yelling in your face like a maniac. Well done!
This is now my go to brownie recipe. Made in a sheet pan and I get perfection every time. Thank you, Trent
Awesome video, Trent.
I’m a little over 6,000 feet above sea level. Should I be adjusting the amount of yelling or baking time? Do I need to adjust any of the other ingredients?
Always love these videos! I actually made your secret banana bread recipe today and it turned out to be a success!
I've been really confused about brownies in general lately. Thanks for clearing things up! Ten out of ten stars!
Love these videos!
Really good tutorial thank you
This cooking video added another layer I didn't even know I needed, like when I was a kid and mom made me wear a knit hat, but then it actually kept my head nice and cozy. Made me smile. Excellent work.
instructions unclear, am now a michelin-star professional chef and too deep in to swap career paths
thanks for the recipe, i haven't watched the bear but these brownies seem tasty
Love this!
1:00 the egg balancing skills 😯
Thank you, chef!
I feel like I dont need to watch The Bear now. I've just seen it all.
best cooking video i've ever seen.
now I want to make some brownies. Love this vid
Does this still work if my friend is watching The Menu?
i forgot what i clicked on, thought you were making cookies. was pleasantly suprised by the brownies.
I really liked the banana bread video. So I know this is gonna be good
thank you trent my arms feel much better now
This is really good :)
Delicious 😊
Trent, I'm making these on Monday. With Peanut butter and marshmellow fluff.
oh man this was a good one :D
mmm brownies
He made really good brownies
Inspired chef.
I used half a cup of salt as my extra ingredient :)
Thank you. 🎉
💛
I do not have the ingredients to make brownies. But I do have ingredients to create an ice cream cone. So I shall join you with a cone to brownie cheers. I've been wondering if The Bear is any good. I'm pretty sure I won't know any better after watching this, but I'm enjoying this video anyway.
Oh snap
The world is my oyster? So I should add half a cup of oyster to the brownie? Instructions unclear.
This was great, ill be sure to try this when i get a chance! Now i just gotta find a angry ryan somewhere.
in a perfect world, salmonella wouldn’t exist and i could eat all the raw brownie batter i wanted to
eggs are not necessary for good brownies, and since they are super unethical I do not use them, so for me this world already exists
Now add Canabutter
he pretended to smoke
Trent the Hitman Hart
Ryan’s a bad guy
Always use unsalted butter when baking. Salt is one of the other ingredients and it would throw the amount off!!!!!
Have to make the brownies, but where do I get the friend?
Week need more cooking content. Maybe cooking streams in the future?
Trent, your nails are immaculate 😅
From what I understand, if you’re not sneaking out back to rip cigs, you aren’t even cooking
Can I still make these brownies if I don't have a friend called Ryan?
I want to make these, but how does it work with Ryan? Do I need to schedule with him to yell at me while I make them? Can we do that part virtually? It seems like that would be more convenient for both of us but I'm not sure how it would affect the brownies.
a little unclear on whether salted or unsalted butter is preferred but otherwise extremely helpful video, thank you
Dried fruits
Half a cup of ball nuts
3:40 - Oyster Brownies sound like a horrible idea.
Video interaction
Trent, you're friggin hilarious dude. Keep up these amazing videos dude, I'm here for it
Lets add half a cup of weed eyyy?? Ammiright???
I mixed in a half a cup of sheet metal screws. I do not recommend.
That guy needs to chill.
TrENnT!!! 😡😡😡 YOU DIDNT SAY HOW MUCH WATER OR MILK TO ADD... so i added a waterbottle and 1/2 ✌️😁
Does the screaming chef come before or after the eggs ? I’m not sure if I’m doing this tutorial right
