Did you add cocoa powder to hot melted butter or did you allow the butter to cool down?

Just made these 20 minutes ago. They were so good, I nearly cried. Literally the best brownies I've ever eaten in my life. I also used less sugar because I'm not American and some instant coffee powder. Definitely making these again.
OMG I LOVE THAT! Pure happy tears!
How much less? 🧐
always interesting to note if a baked good can be reduced in sugar without affecting the texture’s final result.
hey did she use sweetened cocoa or unsweetened?
@@bromabakerycan you tell us if the cocoa was sweetened or unsweetened? And did you use all purpose flour or self rising flour? (Sorry for the trouble).
@@YoSpongebobI think it was unsweetened and all purpose cuz she might’ve said it if those were the specific things she used
Ingredients: In grams (sorry if it isn't right I researched but a lot of the answers are different)
3/4 cups of butter 170 grams butter
3/4 cups of cocoa powder 75 grams cocoa powder
3 eggs 3 eggs
1 3/4 cups of light brown sugar 350 grams light brown sugar
3/4 cups of flour 105 grams flour
vanilla splash of vanilla
1/2 tsp of salt 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 chocolate chips 75 grams chocolate chips (can vary depending on size and brand)
Recipe:
Brown your butter, add the cocoa powder and let it sit. Mix the eggs and brown sugar together until light and fluffy and you can barely feel the sugar granules. Add the butter/cocoa powder and vanilla to the mixture. Mix in flour and salt. Add chocolate chips. Bake at 350 farenheit for 20-25 minutes.

@@cpt.aimassist1480you won’t become a brownie Smurf? 😂 funny though. I mean you could totally just eat 100% healthier foods. That’s really good. But occasionally you can enjoy things like brownies, cookies, or sugary drinks. They don’t provide you with health benefits (or should I say, very few to none), just don’t have too much at once. A brownie every once in a while will be fine as long as you also eat vegetables, proteins, fats, and carbs. You need some of everything. But proportionally less sugary stuff, fats, & carbs to veggies. I hope this gives you a better outlook. It’s all about adding not subtracting. Take care.
I made exactly and these were so amazing. I'm in a brownie coma
What chopped chocolate did you add at the end? Like regular milk chocolate, white chocolate or dark chocolate?

@@andreak3507 Thanks. Guests usually hate me because the only chocolate I keep in my fridge are of the dark variety. 70% cocoa. It's too bitter apparently but the darker the healthier.

And… I’m getting distracted. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 that was the best part and your brownies look so great and tasty!!!
I can attest to this being the best fudgy style brownies. You can tweak a few ingredients and add a little bit of baking powder to make more cake like brownies. The browned butter is the key. You can brown your butter for chocolate chip cookies too, but for cookies you have to whip the butter over an ice bath or in and out of the freezer. Just continue to whip as it cools, to keep it from separating. Once it reaches a softened butter consistency, you can whip you sugar into it and proceed with the chocolate chip cookie dough recipe. I would also refrigerate the dough for 24 hours before baking it and sprinkle with flaky salt when out of the oven.
Thanks!
Our dough always comes out crumbly and hard the next day when we brown the butter for cookies
@@kindafamoustv5440 so how you fix that is to add back two tablespoons of water per stick used, to the butter because the water evaporates when you brown it. Then you must re-solidify the butter and then whip it up when it reaches room temperature/softened butter stage. You can do this by using an ice bath and whipping it or popping it in the freezer for a few minutes at a time, pull it out and whip every few minutes. The added water and not being fully melted should correct this issue for you. Also be sure to refrigerate your dough in an airtight container or freezer style ziplock bag because the moisture will come out if refrigerated in bowl with just plastic wrap or foil.

The reason that there is no baking powder or soda is because she whisks the sugar and eggs, what she is doing is incorporating air in the batter.

I made these, but compared to other brownie recipes, it wasn't as good as it is when it first come out of the oven. The excess brown butter definitely allows for the fudgy texture.
