- Over 550BHP at the crank this modified BMW M2 Competition is the car BMW should have built. The S55 powertrain has been tweaked with BM3 map switching and a custom tune from Simply Tuning which makes the car an animal when you want it to be and as gentle as a stock one with the press of a few buttons.
Check out the extensive mod list in the video and let us know what you think of the package.

M2 comp is definetly my obtainable dream car, I have an e92 335i now
Great film. Just bought an M2 Comp so looking forward to this.
Hot damn! When you popped the bonnet. 😍 I was not expecting that, it’s soo neat and actually looks good.
Fast and gorgeous looking! Great video lads as always
Super Nice review fellas.
Thanks for the videos.
Thanks for watching!
Dream achievable car in my opinion, S55 is a fantastic engine 👌
It was such a good package. It sure what it would be like with another 150hp. But at this power level the chassis is just perfect.
I had one tuned with a full cat back Armytrix exhaust and carbon Arma speed intake punching 540hp it’s was epic and put the power down 100% 👌 best M car for the money
Fantastic idea at the end. That will hit everything on the head.
Love how you guys giggle when you boot it...😂😂😂
What an awesome car! Great looking, comfy and fast love it!!
It really is!
Wow, I'm impressed guys! Regards, Nico.
Yeah, crazy quick for a pump fuel stock turbo tune. Looking forward to seeing it on e86
Awesome vid as always, yous going to roll racing this saturday?
That's as good as it gets on this platform 👍
Pretty damn epic package.
what a beast!
Dave is so pumped up he can barely talk 😂
The Carbon strut brace can be retrofitted to the M135i (N55) so should be possible on the M2 N55. There's a Full write up on the BabyBmw UK forum!
i LOVE the M2. even with n55 engine. perfect size, enough power, comfy etc. only thing that car needs, is better tires..
That’s a proper automobile
There is a auto dismantler called straight six autos that did a retrofit of the carbon fiber strut brace.
More M2C content please!
Looks great in AW with those wheels! 🔥🔥
Just an all round wicked car. Was a lot of fun filming!
@@ZeroTo60Tube What are the wheel specifications? What manufacturer and size?
That is one hot car...
S55 and M2 is best combo for sure.
Wicked setup for sure.
What model BC forged are these wheels ? They look good !
Would love to see it run on the AR1 tires
You guys have the best job ever!
Hobby not quite a job yet. According to our accountant we are losing a lot of money….. yolo cos cars are life
Losing money? What costs are you incurring??
@@Jason-jb9bq Before we even think about the car parts purchased for install videos, camera equipment, sound equipment, dragys, vbox's, car registration, fuel, website costs, event entry, accounting costs, there will be more, but just off the top of my head for now, the worst cost is time. If i had worked at a supermarket stacking shelves instead of doing Zeroto60 i would be about $250,000 better off based on hours worked creating content. I spend around 100-120 hours a week working on zeroto60 and have for the last 12 months, before that it was probably only 40 hours a week for the previous few years. However actual money that has come out of personal savings so far on Zeroto60 is around $80k thats for items listed above so far, not including buying any of the cars. I dont count the cars, cos if we had to sell them, we should break even on them. This is why most youtubers give up after about a year, unless they have a significant financial backing behind them or legit blow up before they run out of money, making youtube videos full time is more expensive than a drug habbit and much more detrimental to your social life..... A single automotive youtuber needs to doing consistently around 1 million views a month to pay his bills i mean like break even on minimum wage. Or be getting paid well for promoting products (VPNs, iphone games) in the videos. That said a youtuber doing 2 million views a month should be making above average income. Its still a hobby for us and will be for a while i feel. But we enjoy doing it and we are lucky to have another business that does pay the bills in the time being.
@@ZeroTo60Tube such an informative response I had no idea how much time effort and money is invested in making you tube videos. To the uneducated person like me it appears to a bunch of mates testing out awesome cars and having a ball doing it.
I love your videos keep up the great work 👍 I especially enjoyed this video as I have an m2c and recently watched you test the G80 m3, what a machine!
@@Jason-jb9bq thanks man and glad you enjoy the vids. The cost of making vids is something that no one body wants to comprehend including ourselves. hehe. But we do genuinely enjoy it. The playing around with cars like this M2C is something we simply wouldnt get to do with out youtube. And hopefully if we keep growing and views keep increasing it might actually be a legitimate job one day. Fingers are crossed. Till then.... who wants to own a house anyway right :P
Awesome performance, especially for 98ron, makes the N55 version seem a bit weak, I'd own either though
Pretty damn crazy for pump fuel
More than s55, the M+F chassis make all the difference...the traction in this level is a main point.
Otherwise, after this point, to decrease this low speed times to your N54 level, M2 will need a some serious upgrades like yours N54.
It would be good if you can start to measure the 100-200kmh times, are more realistic about engine power.
Crank hub upgrade ASAP to be safe eh
Another epic video. I was just wondering how easy it would be to put an N55 engine or N54 engine into a E93 325i uk spec. Cars been built for looks so not bothered about having to sell and buy a 335 would rather swop engines depending on how easy it is. Would the ecu need to be changed too???
Im guessing, ECU, engine bay wiring harness, fuel pump, exhuast, transmission and a heap of custom coding. Definitely do able. Start with a parts car and it wont cost too much.
Yeah, I'm in love.... Damnnnnn
Really well put together bit of kit and ballsy
Nice video guys. We are always comparing Dragy times at roll racing with 100kmh to 200kmh times. Is there much difference in 60 to 120mph? Currently a gtr holds the quickest time of 2.68s 100 to 200kmh and that was around 1350whp. Has the N53 recorded a 100 to 200kmh time? Be good to add it to the QLD QR roll racing list on Dragy to compare how it goes. Keep up the good work 👍
Yeah, 60-130mph is what the guys in the states use. that is 96.5kmh to 209.2kmh. And on a car around this speed will probably take close to a second longer than a 100-200kmh time.
Nice car!! Anything done to the crank hub?
During the filming it was stock. Since then it spun…… didn’t damage anything just threw a fault code. I think it’s got a guntani bow
@@ZeroTo60Tube good that no damage was done. Thanks for info
Just tell us guys in the States that it's Mustang Dyno heartbreaker HP numbers
What year is that thing? The interior looks frickin nice
2019 built
Does look great but I'll be honest I'm not the biggest fan of the s55 exhaust note. it's a bit too raspy for me, defo not a single turbo n54 kinda noise 😉
Better than N54 twins, but single takes the cake for sure! Then again single s55 is bloody epic on the noise front.
S55 with equal length exhaust sounds amazing, look it up!
any crunk hub upgrade?
No not yet. In the pipeline tho.
I assume you guys mean 60-120 kph?
Does the car have the crank hub upgraded ?
Not yet. Planned to be done soon,
So with the tune 0-60 is still 4 seconds due to inability to put the power down. The benefit is the rolling times.
Correct, we find most late model cars sale 2015 onwards are pretty much fastest 0-100 in stock form, until you get some super sticky rubber on them. The M4CS we did recently was a great example of this. Had about 100 more HP than this M2 comp, but it was actually slower 0-100.
Thanks for the kind words again blokes 💪 jimbos package feels great, if only it had 3 pedals 😍
Brilliant work sir!
Does Dan do Ducati Panigale’s ?
He doesn’t unfortunately hehe
Nice but MHD stage 2+ gets you almost 580BHP...
MHD using Dynojet or Dyno Dynamics?
Map 1 330bhp???
Stock... 410hp?
This one stock was 330whp. Thats on a dyno dynamics, which read low. That stock figure was also with all the hardware mods. So realistically a stock car on the same dyno would be just over 300whp.
Ok... wheel hp diff wif crank hp. Tks bro.. i never fail 2watch yr u.tube
60-120 kph or mph I’m pretty sure kph but ye
kmh its what use to judge how a car will overtake.
Is it illegal to delete your cats in Australia? If so, how do you guys go about passing car inspections?
There are no inspections. Not once you own the car. It’s crazy. So many old dangerous cars on the road.
@Zero To 60 So Australian car registration is basically like Ohio or Montana, that's annoying considering the number of old turds that must be driving around, but excellent for enthusiasts.
California is really starting to piss me off with their inspections and constant new laws being passed that only seem to hurt the end-consumer, and car enthusiasts.
The dumbest thing about CA is they're *only* concerned with tailpipe emissions, so we have just as many old piece-of-shit cars on the road, they just happen to have barely passed the bi-yearly smog test.
I have a 21 manual M2Comp and I'm pretty sure CA is trying to punish me for buying a sports car, my yearly registration fee has been over 1000USD since last year (and that's just for a stupid license-plate sticker).
I don't have to smog it at all until 27 or 28 cause it's a new car, but they've even started giving people massive tickets for having exhausts louder than 95dB (which is just about every car you can imagine, especially given the way they test it).
I may have to start considering moving my recording studio to down-under and living there full time. CA is basically a fascist regime if you're a car guy.
Perspective: Consistently - tuned M2s generally run slower times from what BMW claims stock😜) 0-100km/h. Just note a stock 2.0 litre Mk8 Golf R or 2015 RS3 is quicker to 100km/h for reference.
Too much powerrrrrrrrr! Awd on the street makes the world of difference.
@@ZeroTo60Tube - indeed - even Mercedes (E63) and BMW (M5 and newM3) have realised that torquey engines over 300kw need AWD to be effective and competitive with the global market in a street setting
