  • Ethologist Vilmos Csányi has written 41 books, including a university textbook on ethology and published around 200 scientific studies. Thanks to his work the Department of Ethology has been founded and developed. In the last stage of his scientific activity finished in 2005, he engaged in the problems of human ethology and was interested in the stage of evolution of human behaviour before the advent of spoken language (conversation). In this topic, invaluable data were obtained during the observation of family dogs’ behaviour. It is generally accepted today that it is possible to use dogs as models for studying the evolution of human behaviour. The methods of Professor Vilmos Csányi are widely used in leading laboratories around the world and the study of dogs has become a rapidly growing field of cognitive ethology.

"Lefölözni a habot." Jópofa. Lefölözni a lényeget szoktuk, nem a fölösleget. :)
Amúgy nagyon szeretem és tisztelem Csányi Vilmost, mind a személyiségét, mind a munkásságát.
