I'll be honest. I never even considered that motor combo for the LMT. Now that you have, I don't think anything will come close to that performance and you didn't even try a 6s battery. Crazy power

I plan on putting this combo on my RC Jetboat. Should be epic up the rivers compared to the Cheap eBay motor ESC combo I have in it now. I have the perfect water jacket for it. The Losi LMT is a beast with all the upgrades and the Max 8. Insane how the new dirt doesn't kick up dust like the old dirt. Should be awesome for the track.

Me either but it is cool , I almost bought one used . Rich kid mom was selling it . It was all done soup to nuts I think it was 700 . But it was well used. My lhs bought one that's built and never used , it's a shelf queen at the store . He stole it for like. 500 bucks . Even if we did build we wouldn't want to use lol too expensive 😅

My 2400 kv castle does well on 4s , I've been through a bunch of servos even with HR servo saver . Trucks a servo eater lol

I love castle ESC in my lmt running a monster mamba x8s ESC with a reds 2800kv truggy motor on 4s and the fan never comes on bc it never gets over 105 ° temp on ESC and motor never gets over 115 on 4s beating the s*** out of it!

I put same combo in my maxx on 6s and motor was scorching hot on really conservative gearing with a motor fan !
I just haven't had heat issues with this one, did you mess with timing? 6s is rough for sure though
Stock it comes with 25 weight shock oil. What weight do you recommend or have you changed the shocks?

2650kv in my LMT. Runs good on 3S. On 4S is making a clicking sound under hard throttle on high grip surface. Any ideas? I don't think it's the plastic drive shafts. They show no wear and aren't warm from twisting.
Is there a vid of the actual ESC install? the arrangement of your ESC and receiver box don't look factory anymore. Just bough the Max8 G2 combo and it doesn't seem to fit
Looking to add the lmt roller to my collection soon, any must have upgrades for just basic running nothing to wild? What servo and servo saver is good on the budget?
On a budget you should just get the RTR and upgrade when you need the part's your braking as we all drive different but limiting straps straight away are a must 👍

I wondered what center diff fluid you are running here.. I just got done fully building my Son-Uva with Hack Fab carbon chassis, Castle Mamba Monster X and 1512 2650kv sensored, all the Vitavon parts available and a few Treal. Running Renegades and Launches for tires and a 16t pinion, 100k front, 1 million center, 200k rear with the 3deg lock outs. Maybe I need to up it to 10 million center diff fluid?? Too much power!! It's getting horrible torque steer and unloading bad on the front left wheel even with the center diff flip and motor reversing. I don't enjoy driving it anymore, it's much harder to jump, wheelie and go straight fast. I think it's just too heavy also. I have an almost stock Grave Digger to compare it to and it's much more fun and nimble to drive. I put $3500 into it to make it a worse truck at this point. Thanks for all you do for us RC addicts!
Do you flip the diff when you change rotation.?...flip the diff back and try again
Up your diff fluid in the front..steering will suffer but diff won't unload
If axial offers an smt with ryft axles I'll own one. I've been wanting an lmt for a long time. Setup just identical to yours
You can you just have to have different output shafts from the Ryft axles to the the transmission.

that chssis is a half ass savage copy buy way but it to narrow . that sway bar needs to be out side the lower links to work right . same lenght dual rate spings over treaded oil filled shocks work really good . wraith axles work the best
Are the fling kings a smaller diameter than the OE LMT wheels?
These are a new style for the kraton and such they are much bigger. Look on the j concept website.

I want a 1/8th scale or larger crawler/ monster that isn't a SCX-6. This is the closest I've found. Why are all crawlers 1/10 or smaller? I know i can't be the only one wanting this but a little bigger.
I wish we had something that could contend with the scx6 Cross has the 1/8 Emo that looks really good
