antifragile's album cover is actually super clever -- it looks like kintsugi, the art of repairing broken pottery with gold. it fits with their 'antifragile' concept, basically saying that if someone tries to break them, they'll come back even stronger and more beautiful. i'm not a le sserafim fan so i don't know this for sure, but that's my interpretation of the cover!

now that you pointed, BTS has some of the most pleasingly aesthetic album covers. love yourself trilogy has some of the most simple yet attractive album covers out there. my personal favorite would be map of the soul 7 album cover. just a simple 7 but only i know about the chokehold that simple 7 has on me.

The NCT 127 one it isn't just a camo pattern, it's the map of Seoul, 127 is the longtitude of Seoul. I mean that's clever, for their very first album.

TXTâs new album temptation that cover Iâm living for and BTSâs Love yourself persona i lovveee thatâs album cover just all of BTSâs album covers but with TXT itâs hit or miss really

i agree with 13, the album cover for girls just looks like an action figure package while the one they did for illusion looks simplistic but actually matches their concept.
Regarding checkmate I remember it did have a different album cover on Spotify for like a week and it was rly cool. It was silvery and rly gave off the royal concept but OF COURSE they changed it to match sneakers

Personally, I think nct 127 might not have the best cover with best picture image reference, powerful message or great editing but the simplest thing like camouflage patterns makes the album iconic : any kpop stans without even being a nctzen could easily assimilate the cover and the NCT's subunit. There are many ways to make a great album cover but not for making them memorable, iconic. Anyway, I've really enjoyed this video content and the comments section and try to understand everyone opinions as a kpop stan but also as a graphic designer. đđœ
Obsession's album cover isn't ugly at all, it's simple, minimalist and great.
I love the after like design! The neon color is perfect! It doesn't fit with the songs, yes undeniable but it fits perfectly with the concept of movie production and such, representing that green screen (that idk the name) they use to apply after effects

Thank you for this video! This is the first time that I focus on the album covers and I have some thoughts when I relate them to the song(s):
1. After Like (IVE) - maybe the color indicates that it's either a green flag or like a "go" signal to pursue whatever it is after "like"
2. Beautiful Monster (STAYC) - it's literally a "beautiful monster" đ
3. You'll Never Walk Alone (BTS) - they really owned the cover because BTS always comes to my mind whenever I see a view similar to the cover
4. OMG (New Jeans) - maybe the grayscale indicates the "shades of gray" when someone falls in love like it can make you a little crazy sometimes
5. Antifragile (Le Sserafim) - it screams "Kintsugi" which may indicate that they are reaching they're full potential as they've gone through tough times

I love how BLACKPINK don't try to have unique or extraordinary covers they go with the basic ones yet it is satisfying to look at.... Its simple and is related to their music themes. Hands down to their team who decides this!!

3:51 Ik colours can be a little weird, but honestly they fits albums concept, and this small pieces of camouflage pattern are in Seoul shape (nct 127 is Korea-based unit). I think it's kinda creative
Not a Le Sserafim fan...but the album looks like kintsugi (fixing broken pieces of pottery with gold) and if that's what it was intended then it really makes sense.
A lot of these aren't that bad. It just matter of the difference between the online album pic and the physical album. Like with EXO - Obsession, it's the group logo for online but the physical album has a better overall design.

I actually have Cravity's albums and it's so nice when all 9 of the coloured ones are together but if you only have a few the colours can be irritating to look at cause they don't match (especially The first album ver 1 and the third album ver 3, beige and yellow)
Overall its worth it though :)

Since no one pointed this out let me say it then:
1- Firetruck album: itâs so creative it indicates the map of Seoul actually since 127 in based in Seoul, btw the colors is pretty
2- obsession album: if you look at the album it actually says âEXOâ the flag that has white line is âEâ and the pole of the flag when they come together they make a cross it represent âXâ and lastly the black flag that is âOâ is itâs actually so creative
3- girls album: itâs actually very pretty and radiate the group concept
4- future perfect (pass the mic) album: the colors comes together is so good, honestly I think orange fits Enhypen so much I hope they can continue doing stuff while including the orange color in it
idk i feel like the after like cover had something to do with the theme of the mv - if u watch there are all sorts of editing(?) references such as the vfx tracking points, the cameras filming the members, and how each scene is a set based around a certain color. the neon green could perhaps be a green screen reference??????? not sure

Oh God, I was shocked when I saw my suggestion. I'm gonna admit, I was the lunatic, whose choice was Maxident. You're 100% right, the digital cover is truly great and it suits the concept so well, but I don't know, I just don't vibe with any of the physical album covers. They definitely aren't the ugliest covers I've ever seen in my life, but the shock, when I saw that soap bubble design in real life for the first time, I genuinely thought the album was damaged. đ

I don't really agree with this video. I think the "We need love" Album cover was really pretty tbh, and the "Dream like." Album cover was fitting for The boyz album cover.
