- A follow-up video to the steaming-up video I made with LNER A4-class 4-6-2 No.4498 "Sir Nigel Gresley" at the Eastleigh Lakeside Steam Railway at the end of May.
This time on Friday 27th July 2018 we see the steaming-up process of SR LN-class 'Lord Nelson' 4-6-0 No.E850 "Lord Nelson" in readiness for its day's work on the Passenger Service along with ELR 'Northern Rock'-class 2-6-2 No.10 "Sir Arthur Heywood" on its Driver Experience duty and also preparation, shunting and track inspection with Bo-Bos No.D1994 "Eastleigh" and 3221 Eurostar.
I always enjoy videos like this. I have no idea why, but the very idea of these miniature engines bring a smile to my face. Actual, functioning locomotives that can fit into the bed of an ordinary pick-up truck!
the dude who has a eurostar is a freaking legend
What a beautiful engine Lord Nelson is. Wonderfully looked after as well.
Well done Eastleigh Railways
Like no 3 the best.
Nice shots of the railway and the engines
That diesel loco dragging 30 coaches! 💪
You should volunteer here as your there 24/7
Before firefighters you would get one of your oily rags put it on your shovel and set fire to it.
what kind of inch is this railway is it a 5 inch 10/quarter inch
7-1/4 and 10-1/4 dual gauge.
Those coal steamers aren't cheap to run.
Why don't you do diesel locomotives?
