Royal Victoria Railway - Netley, Southampton.

I visit the 10 and a quarter inch gauge miniature railway based on the site of the former Military Hospital at Netley, Southampton.
The locomotive operating that day was Western Class, D1000 - "Western Independence".

Looks a greet little Railway, just the name of D1000 grated on me !

Yes, it's a nice railway, the real D1000 was "Western Enterprise", so I'm not sure where the Independence bit comes from!

@@melchestermodelrailway Yes I know, that's why it grated. It needs a new number, say D1074 then it will be fine !
