    Another awesome video. I did have to stop watching at the beginning of the video and try to figure out which of my smoke alarms were going off. I would walk away and nota peep 😆😆😆😆 Looking forward to more videos! Thanks for making these.

    This whole series is amazing. I keep going back to refine pieces of the process of just acclimation before I go off and creating my own cultures and setting a little lab up. The paperweight on top of the vent saved my first plantlets, as it was leaking too much moisture in the air without it.
    Thanks Tatum!!

      Hey Jason! I am just getting started with TC acclimation and am working towards setting up a little lab as well- question on acclimation, do you keep the plantlets moist or just water once and allow the ambient moisture to keep them happy? I am getting my first batch set up now and want to make sure I don’t over water or let them get too dry as they acclimate/root. Thank you in advance!

    I just watched parts 1-4 back to back and not stopping yet. Really good information and nice presentation, thank you. I was going to tell you to change the battery in your smoke detector but that seems to be taken care of. I had a little chuckle when you mentioned not wanting to show what is in the refrigerator, then the beer pong table and then the booty shorts. You're fun and informative, good on you. The University of Illinois Extension has a very good video on micro-propagation at home. It is and hour and a half but worth viewing. I'm not trying to steer your viewers away, I just think you can't have too much information. I haven't tried this yet but I plan to.

    This is the BEST series for tissue cultures that’s ever been made! I’ve started acclimating my tissue culture out of humidity. My plant is doing so good following your advice. I was so scared to order a tissue culture because other videos I’d watched, but you really gave me the confidence to try it after I found your videos. Thank you so much ❤

    Thank you for such a detailed video, it’s been very helpful. Can I ask, for the caramel marble, do all the plants have variegation when you receive them? I was told the chance of getting variegation is really low and the babies look completely green.

    Hi Tatum, your video was very informative. This is my first time buying tissue culture plants and I am so excited. They will be shipped out tomorrow, and guess what Alice is my supplier,a friend of mine referred me to her . And when I heard you mentioned her shop and her name , I was really , she’s legit. I was very skeptical because I’ve been scammed so many times on Etsy. Now am at ease 😂

    Thank you so much for this info!
    Is it true that if you purchase a tc plant (let's say a Thai con) and it shows no signs of variegation during it's young stage, that there is no chance of it ever showing variegation?

    • @aliceneal8666
      @aliceneal8666 Před 2 lety +6

      I know this is an old post but if a plant is a Thai constellation it should always have var because Thais have stable variegation it’s embedded in their DNA

    Great series. What happens between video 3 and 4? In video 3 you made the medium and sterilized it in your microwave. Then in video 4 you went straight to acclimatizing plants. Am I missing something? Thank you!

    • @emilylovesplants
      @emilylovesplants Před rokem +2

      After watching the full series I think this was to show the different things she did after receiving the plantlets, the next video goes into micro propagating some she received so I think this is sequential (media is made, some are acclimated and some are placed in media in the next video)
