Bruh the Kazuha gatekeepers drive me so insane lol. Like I know it's mostly jokes, and they normally don't mean any harm by it, but after so many people even jokingly saying that "OoH yOu sHOulD hAVe puLlED oN hIS fIRsT bAnNEr" really gets on my nerves after a while.
Freaking same bro, I pulled on his first banner anyways but since I was new, I had no idea what to do and didn't hit pity in time. Just the fact that I didn't get him the first time and waited for the second one makes me cringe when people comment things like that. Like even tho they're not directing at some of us, it makes me cringe so bad and I don't like talking to them, no offense.
That's what I have noticed with Shenhe recently too, since she's getting a rerun very soon and the people who wanted no one else to have her are complaining like SHUT UP! She's not your character...

If the Crit rate is 80 then your Crit Damage should be like 160 or close to it, if you can't reach 80 then 50:100 is good too

I find the idea of co-op absolutely terrifying. I don’t really have great builds and don’t think I’m very good at it and I’m honestly terrified of having people I don’t know come into co-op. I don’t main the “meta” characters really and I’ve just seen too many mean comments about stuff like that
Most ppl i meet are actually quite nice! They don't mind whenever i tell them my builds are ass and even offer to help me out or they give me some helpful advice. So don't worry! (I'm on the eu server tho)
uh idk i do coop everyday and no one says anything when someone brings a less meta character tbh nobody cares at this point domains are easy anyways
Don’t worry! 99 percent of the time, everyone are really nice! Even in domains, most of time, everyone will either be really quiet or just be friendly in the chat by greeting everyone and all. Heck, I used to sometimes bring my lvl 50-60 Barbara in 90 domains who wasn’t the best built and no one even bothered to question me lol. My point is, don’t be afraid to co-op! Everyone’s really nice most of the time, and lot of them helped me out with my builds and taught me how to build characters. and even if you meet a toxic player, just leave! Your builds and characters don’t matter, what matters is your having fun. Have a lovely day
Sometimes if you're getting shitty artifacts on your own world going coop is actually good. Idk if there's an explanation to that maybe the drop varies from world to world. That's actually where I got my best arti.
I just do co op when my damage is bad. Like omg I was fighting the hydro cube and that thing kept healing right near death. Then it respawned like I’m going are u shitting me. Fuck this. I’m not doing this again, so I asked in my co op friends list for help and poof dead so easy.

I hate all those "Kazuha wanters" they're literally everywhere. If you explain why Hoyoverse doesn't put Kazuha there, they downvote you like crazy. They are disgusting even saying "Oh, they couldn't even put Kazuha" or "No Kazuha..." like stop, we all understand you want Kazuha, no reason to go on youtube, Reddit, or twitter and be disgusting like that.

I find it extremely disrespectful when they start crying about Kazuha in live streams or introduction of new characters/rerun... like there is no respect for the effort people put in making everything starting with designers, video editors, VAs just ignoring all that because your favourite character is not their is simply rude.
Yea I hate "that" side of the kazuha wanters too. Not all of them tho. But alot of them I feel are not being considerate of what's going on with the company in Shanghai and are just putting such great importance of Kazuha's rerun and its sad

The meta and getting absolute highest damage numbers IS fun for me. I dont sit here and make fun of people who dont play meta. In fact, I dont care what you play as long as you have fun and if meta makes it fun then play meta, if not then dont. It just kinda hurts my soul a little tbh

the funny thing about kazuha is that the people that make fun of people without him and the people that very badly want him can be just as toxic as each other for multiple different reasons.
my personal stance on it is more an informing people instead of making fun of them, like letting people know how to find out if a character is good during their banner. but people in the genshin community are always too concerned with the popular narrative, either only going with it or going against it, never any nuance.
my take is, the kazuha info and how good he was, it was actually there and known during his banner. but you can't just go to a popular click baiting youtuber and just go with what they say, you have to do something which might sound insane and crazy... but freaking read the ability descriptions in game... crazy i know, reading stuff. like who does that.
on the flip side, don't just pull for a character just because they are the best at something. primo gems are limited out side of being a whale. so do you really need kazuha? sucrose can out preform him slightly at c6 when kazuha is c0. how much do you want him and for what reasons? because he's good? well sucrose is more easily obtainable and may be better at high constellations. is it for game play? for the character? or is it just because there's now a crap ton of hype for him, people saying he's the best thing ever so you just have to get him?
like some times i wonder, are the kazuha wanters actually still falling for the same thing that caused them to skip out in the first place... they get stuck on the popular trend and just go with it.
just make your own decision, don't just run with the popular answer, actually use your own brain to make the choice don't let someone else chose for you. if you do that you won't have as many regrets.
i my self gave up any chance of getting a character i wanted in order to get kazuha. i wouldn't have ever made that decision if i just listened to other people. it wasn't a decision to be anti hype, it was an informed choice based on in game info. so when he comes around, get him because YOU want him, not because everyone else does.
i think this kinda happened with xiao's rerun. so many people wanted him, then got him and now they complain that he sucks. i wasn't playing genshin during his first banner, in fact i started around the end of august, so i was really excited to get him - i like his playstyle but mostly him as a character. is my yanfei stronger than him? yes but i don't regret getting him. i see a lot of cases when people get a character because they're meta or everyone just talks about wanting them a lot and then the character sits in the inventory, the player completely forgetting about them because their playstyle is not for them. just... learn how they work and then decide?? there's a reason why we can try out the characters when their banner comes around. i like kazuha when we get to play him in events but i don't think he's for me and i really hope not to see players get him and then realise they don't have use for him - even though that is most likely going to happen:/

@@gayblueberry3918 oh don't get me wrong, i very much like meta stuff and going with it, but as for what specifically i like to go for meta wise... its more characters that will age well.
most often supports for obvious reasons. sure characters like kazuha who buffs an insane amount, even if he gets power crept he will still have a place for a very long time. raiden is the best energy battery in the game and isn't a half bad dps at the same time.
though for dps its stuff like ayaka, who while is a dps who could technically be power crept, even if she is, she still does high damage and enables a powerful freeze team. also because her main damage "her burst" hits multiple times, not just once, she actually scales way better with buffs then other characters with one big nuke attack, and will end up better with time.
that's the kinda stuff i take into consideration. i don't pull because people say they are meta, i pull because they are meta and have long lasting potential.
only one i pulled for that might fall out side of this reasoning is, i pulled ganyu cause i like bow characters and wanted to be lazy in the overworld... no other thought went into that lol... melt ganyu and quadratic damage freeze team are just a bonus.

i've spent a lot of time thinking about this, mostly because i keep running into people who are arguing about stuff that didn't happen or don't even know basic stuff like "you can read skills in game before you get a character"
its real frustrating especially when they jump on you when you point out very basic stuff and you are just trying to point stuff out for future reference.
thing about kazuha is I have seen the kazuha people that you depicted in this video and they have most certainly had a go at me for not having him, but I went full in on kazuha with 80 summons (all i had saved at that point), got to 90 from previous pulls, lost the 50/50, then did 2 more 10 pulls and still didnt get him

I kinda understand that someone would say something like : "you don't deserve X when you trashed it and hate on it." There were lots of people trash talking about his kit, There are still like 20 pages (or more) in Honey Hunter full with those things. If you can't pull for a character and would like to have him, just don't say a thing, like me with Kokomi, couldn't pull for her but didn't have the necessity to trash on her.Wish luck to anyone on his rerrun tho, even those annoying people who hated on him so much even months before his release.

I am #7. I only started accepting friends to use their teapots, I've only even coop during select events, I ignore request to come into my world. I literally skipped the past Windtracer even because my aversion to playing with others is higher then my desire for rewards. For me Genshin is single player. Nothing to do with social anxiety either I just don't feel like playing with others.

im an introvert genshin player, i play only with friends.
I know a stat gatekeeper, but whats good with this one is they actually help me build my characters better by carrying me in artifacts domains. They have god level artifact stats, i aspire to have their level of dmg. They dont just look at crit but also elemental bonuses, type of artifact set, type of weapon and teaches how to play the character.
Guilty, i'm 100% the introvert gamer who will pick up leveling materials then wait til they refresh to pick them up again instead of going to random worlds and asking them for some LOL

introverts is relatable tbh, I’ve only ever gone into co-op once since I was struggling with the VV domain and it was a worse experience than just struggling normally since we beat it like 8 times in 2 hours. The only reason I have it enabled to join is cuz my friend asked me to.
I also hate the gatekeepers, just gotta go back in time and play genshin before the kazuha banner cuz god forbid you start playing afterwards.

I love how this video is trying to throw shade at unpopular character mains hating Hu Tao, while in my 400+ days of playing I’ve NEVER ONCE met a Hu Tao main/user who was NOT absolutely obnoxious, boring, and insufferable. I'm also having a hard time deciding for Kazuha because he also has a lot of really obnoxious wanters/havers. I only wanted one more Anemo CC (doesn't help that I used my guarantee on Ayato who came out with Venti).

I feel very seen as an older player who spends money on this game, doesn't have Kazuha, has terrible stats on all my characters, and who plays only the characters they like regardless of the meta.

And most players at that time where planning on skipping him and some content creators were also saying primos are better for other characters. The new characters now didn't get as much hate as the ones who were released on 1.6-2.1.(a lot of players also realized the trend and stop hating characters on their release) Yae got some controversy but she has a lot of simps to fight for her, us kazuha havers were ridiculed for getting him at his release. And yeah im still bitter to the players who told me that kazuha sucks and now they are begging for kazuha to rerun.

i think genshin have a lot of content compared to others it's just the fast run. if they play alone or with friends without guides help it will take time but it's again everyone play for their daily mission and resources and do exploring with guides help. One thing i can say genshin can improve in co op with voice chat feature, i don't know why they don't do it.

I gotta admit the only REAL time I was like toxic was when I saw my friend's account (he got the game cause of the cool fighting yet all his characters had builds not suited for that character's kit) I did apologize a whole lot after a few minutes tho (I did end up saving his account a bit)

If you lost the 50/50 or were saving for ayaka, I understand. but as for the content creators just trying to milk views, it just made me mad, and even then I dont say "you don't deserve him".
