One of your most useful videos: It's easy to overlook things when you don't know what to look for.
Thank you for your useful and clear recommendations ! I will buy a used midi piano tomorrow and I will follow your advices...
My first keyboard (Korg N364) was already pushing 20 years old when I bought it. Probably not the safest choice, but it has served me well for almost 7 years now. I followed it a bit later with a Korg Karma, which is also well past it's 20th birthday now.
I wouldn't recommend it for everybody, there's always a bit of tinkering with such old gear, but I've had a lot of fun. Now that I've got a bit more disposable income and maybe some degree of skill, there's a significant risk I might end up with a used Kronos sooner or later :)
I bought used keyboards twice: an old Casio with lighting keys and a Korg Kross. I only had minor problems with them (ex. LCD occasionally blanks out), but I only bought them as my second keyboard and I was on tight budget.
I also sold my PSR-EW400 in good condition on the used market and my buyer never had any complaints with it.
Though I will still prefer buying new because of the warranty and peace of mind.
Just the video I needed. Also I am looking to buy a psr ew310 as a first keyboard. Is this a good choice or should I buy a psr e373 instead?
Great vid🎹🎶
Thanks 💯

Hi jeremy...thank you for your channel, very attractive, helpful and your explanation are easy to understand for me as beginner. If I may, i would love to hear your opinion about this piano that im considering to buy for my first piano. The first one is Kawai CN201 and the second also the latest is Yamaha P-S500. If you're as a beginner, which one will suites you?
Thank you and greetings from East Borneo Indonesia..
🙏🙏🙏
Is it important to learn on weighted keys digital piano rather than just learning on synth keys keyboards like psr series?
Got a radio shack the one with the light up buttons. 60.00 good deal? Everything works far as I can tell
In general, I can highly recommend buying relatively current, lightly used keyboards from a respectable brand, esp. if you're after an entry level to mid-level instrument. There are lots of people who buy such a keyboard bc they want to learn playing and give up quite quickly, then sell it off almost unused with a nice discount. If you're on a budget, it's much better to get a used quality keyboard rather than a nasty new no-name one. Plus, many people don't want to pack them up for mailing, so you can get them even cheaper if you pick them up locally.
usefull tips
thanks
hey jeremy. im buying a keyboard soon. at the moment i have the p45 and am looking to upgrade to the dgx670. would you recommend another? or is it a good choice. i havnt seen any keyboard that compares to it so far
Whats your opinion of The One brand electronic piano for example the 88 key one for my two kids that need keys that light the way to play
I want to buy an inexpensive keyboard but I want one that has an arpeggiator that has different patterns, a bpm counter, and a five pin midi din in, out, thru. What would you recommend please Jeremy?
Hello Jeremy. I found some interesting issues regarding one of the keybord you were recommending (psr e473, you were already addresing another of it's issue, the one with LCD screen but mine is with the sounds intself) and I think you might be interested in it. Is there a way to send You description of the issues
I never encounted a keyboard with broken speakers or a bad display. I test the keys and then always the keyboard is perfect.
Is yamaha psr I400 is better for professional piano players????
Hi Jeremy could you do Korg pa600 Review please Thanks
Can you make a video with Yamaha psr i300 new released keyboard please ❤
Very good video/topic, Jeremy. But like cars, I really hesitate from buying used ones. But some people like me don't beat and thrash my keyboards, so they are in pretty good condition..
You would be the kind of owners those looking to buy used look for! 😍
@@JeremySee But I like my keyboards, and even if I get the FP-E50, I still want to keep what I have. My fully loaded Roland Fantom X6 from around 2006 was hardly used, practically immaculate with a case and a whole bunch of extras when I sold it to a local music store I know the owners well. It was practically mint condition, and was pretty expensive back then.
It's amazing to be able to get something like the CT-S1 and Go:Keys for the price they have new, but even that FP-E50 for $1000 USD is practically unheard of for all the features it has. Sometimes waiting pays off when something better comes out, or the other older models that are still brand new are discounted. Like the Roland V-Combo VR-09B I just saw recently at $200 off, like the RD-88 is sometimes discounted about that much.
@@jjacob25101 you're lucky to live where there's space to keep your gear. In Singapore, a tiny 99-year leasehold 1 bedroom government public housing goes for up to ½ million USD. Space to keep gear becomes ridiculously expensive.
@@JeremySee Yeah, I live in a nice 2 bedroom unit, one of 3 in a fair sized house. But I have so much things already, I even have two storage spaces, one that can fit probably two cars, but kind of far away, and I don't presently have a car to shuffle things around, but considering you have a family of four, and not two people like myself, space is at a premium, almost like Japan in the cities. They come up with innovative designs to use the same space for different things as the needs arise. Like well designed mobile homes.
Can you review the keyboard GL-655 and GL-988, I'm from the Philippines also and i want to buy those too, is there any chance that you fould review those 2?
It's like new content for you too, it's like Buying a really cheap keyboard that sounds good but it sacrifices some qualities of that kind of stuff. I hope you'll agree, keep on teaching the world brother!
Those are toys for toddlers. It will kill your passion to learn piano. Steer clear of them and look for ew310 instead.
( _sung to the tune of_ "Climb Ev'ry Mountain"): "Press ev'-ry but-ton__, turn ev'-ry knob___, Shi-i-ift ev'-ry sliii - derrrr...." 🎼🎶🎹 🤗
Sorry, couldn't resist! Great advice, though, Jeremy! 😎👍
Brilliant! Thanks buddy.

Can I buy the medeli a1000
Well, a Yamaha Tyros 3 or 4 can add wonderful features, it hasn't to be a Genos.
