I am from Chennai, i still can't understand why Atlee copying from other movies is taken so seriously as if it's a crime💀 because i loved Mersal and theri, even Raja Rani.... It had lot of inspirations from different movies, we know that commercial cinema in general is a mix of movies born through following particular style or templates!! I don't understand why atlee was a huge target for critics and media in this regard.. He didn't do anything different like a shankar or Karan Johar or even someone like a Gautam vasudev menon who follow certain type of template!! Atlee deserves better recognition and credit!! Personally, I don't like his films apart from Raja Rani and Theri because it feels soulless for me. Everything seems calculated, so corporate and some even feels forced, like bigil and that singampenne song feels like just a wave catching attempt at the feminism movement happening in Tamil cinema with great movies like Kanna and Neerkonda Parvai being hits. Atlee and Anirudh knows how to give a lifetime memorable theatre experience. People say whatever they want to say but in the end entertainment matters. The way I and my friends enjoyed watching Jawan in theatre, we didn't the enjoyment while watching Dunki. That's why we watched Jawan multiple times in theatres just to have that theatre experience, and each time we got satisfied, but we've watched Dunki just once, and didnt feel the urge to watch it again. So, I agree with Rantman here. If a man can impress us with his work and after investing our hard earned money on his work we feel paisa wasool each time, of course he has something and he deserves credit rather intellectualizing or being hypocrites.

Let me start off by saying that I love Atlee's films and his style of work. I think he's put himself in such a commendable place currently in India after Jawan. And I agree with Rantman's Jawan review with the fact that most of his so called "copied scenes" in Jawan cannot be termed as copied, as it is more close to paying homage to some other scenes since the whole premise and context is completely different and original. It's a neat trick actually since it brings an element of nostalgia in the film for the audience. That being said, I must also say I don't think it is relevant to appropriate to say Hirani "copied" scenes from 3 idiots. I mean firstly 3 idiots is his own work lol. But its the same idea here in saying that he is paying homage and taking references from his earlier works.
Jawan is a very well made movie. Period. Simply putting it down as mass masala is unfair. if success was that easy every producer will be doing it. Atlee put a lot of effort on this. I was irritated mildly on resemblances of Rajini style is many scenes in jawan. Still its a very well packaged movie. Hats off to Atlee. He has created Atlee template. SRK is not stupid to seek atlee. SRK clearly researched and asked specifically for ATLEE Style movie.

The way I and my friends enjoyed watching Jawan in theatre, we didn't the enjoyment while watching Dunki. That's why we watched Jawan multiple times in theatres just to have that theatre experience, and each time we got satisfied, but we've watched Dunki just once, and didnt feel the urge to watch it again. So, I agree with Rantman here.

Let me start off by saying that I love Atlee's films and his style of work. I think he's put himself in such a commendable place currently in India after Jawan. And I agree with Rantman's Jawan review with the fact that most of his so called "copied scenes" in Jawan cannot be termed as copied, as it is more close to paying homage to some other scenes since the whole premise and context is completely different and original. It's a neat trick actually since it brings an element of nostalgia in the film for the audience. That being said, I must also say I don't think it is relevant to appropriate to say Hirani "copied" scenes from 3 idiots. I mean firstly 3 idiots is his own work lol. But its the same idea here in saying that he is paying homage and taking references from his earlier works.

Jawan is a very well made movie. Period. Simply putting it down as mass masala is unfair. if success was that easy every producer will be doing it. Atlee put a lot of effort on this. I was irritated mildly on resemblances of Rajini style is many scenes in jawan. Still its a very well packaged movie. Hats off to Atlee. He has created Atlee template. SRK is not stupid to seek atlee. SRK clearly researched and asked specifically for ATLEE Style movie.
