Ronald J: Oh, I'm not sure that he's all that underrated, not among real musicians, anyway: every serious guitarist, from Jeff Beck to Prince, have all noted Harrison's sophisticated melodicism. And his bottleneck slide guitar playing, uncannily wedding Elmore James, Ravi Shankar, African-American R&B and Jazz (those chord tones and diminished scales!) with Indian Classicisms, is simply jaw-dropping in its beauty. Oh, Harrison wrote amazing, world-reorienting songs with that little band of his, what were they called, "The Beatles?" and penned not a few blockbuster hits in his Own Write. But his guitar playing remains just uncanny and sublime.

@HarriBest Reactions - all the musicians/singers on this track alone are :
(Wiki entry) An anthemic ballad and one of Harrison's most celebrated compositions, "Isn't It a Pity" has been described as the emotional and musical centrepiece of All Things Must Pass[1] and "a poignant reflection on The Beatles' coarse ending".[2] Co-produced by Phil Spector, the recording employs multiple keyboard players, rhythm guitarists and percussionists, as well as orchestral and choral arrangements by John Barham. The track also serves as a showcase for Harrison's slide guitar playing, a technique he introduced with All Things Must Pass. In its long fadeout, the song references the closing refrain of the Beatles' 1968 hit "Hey Jude". Other musicians on the recording include Ringo Starr, Billy Preston, Gary Wright and the band Badfinger, while the reprise version features Eric Clapton on lead guitar.

Although John Lennon and Paul McCartney have wonderful voices, George Harrison’s voice was my favorite. I’ve heard the saying that John sang to your head, Paul sang to your heart, and that George sang to your soul. I tend to agree with that. Oh God I miss George.

I wonder if George contributed the na na na naa part of Hey Jude to Paul and then decided to steal it back for this song? Or maybe Paul just took it from George without asking?

Nina Simone as she covered many songs made this song her own. If you haven't heard hers you really haven't heard the true love of these lyrics.

The Beatles supposed to make this album but John and Paul even as great they become individually never admitted that George was on the rise and he made the best post split album .I still listen to it is been more then 45 year's i got copy of this album..

You have the picture of the record "ALL things must pass " where these songs are. Imagine "My sweet Lord "" Isn't it a petty" and others on a Beatles record. After Abbey Road "something" & "Here comes the Sun ". How would Paul McCartney do the bass guitar? And John & Ringo? With the Master Sir George Martin incharge of production ☯️✌take care

This is such a great song of George’s! I can see why you’d compare it to Let it Be.
By the way, I remember how you reacted to his song My Sweet Lord. He made a remake of it for the 30th anniversary reissue in 2000, one year before he passed away. It hits differently than the original version did, and I would love to see how you feel about heading it in comparison to the original. This is the remake George did of My Sweet Lord in the year 2000: czcams.com/video/NJnx8kXb0Uo/video.html
