TheGtadrian The drift button sends 70% of the power to the wheels to the rear wheels. And 100% of that power can go to a single wheel when cornering and such.
That overly synthesized exhaust note better not be piped in through the stereo. I really wanted to see this thing thrashed at speed, not just edited to sound like it was going fast. But hey, I guess it's a teaser, like that soft mode with no sliding shown.
I wasn't really that crazy about Ford's except for the SN95 Mustang but i can tell this thing is going to be a beast just from that prowess! I'd be happy if Nissan and Toyota brought out its R&D team to develop a competitor.

I'm not much of a Ford fan however I'd definitely look into getting this one. Who else is making a car with these specs besides Subaru? People between the ages of 18-35 want these cars. They don't want automatics, they want manuals. When will the other American car companies get that? GM and Chrysler/Dodge aren't producing them. Excellent job Ford. Keep it going.
Maybe if Ford could try a DCT on this one for the ones who can't drive manuals (most Lancer Evolutions and all GTR's have it), but keep the manual available for the purists.
I have no issue driving a manual i would just prefer a automatic for the fact that its more practical and as im stuck in traffic for an hour everyday on my ride home i dont want to be constantly shifting.

All cars from Fords TeamRS division only came with a manual transmission, and even after the Performance Arms (TeamRS, SVT, and FPV) have been merged any car with the RS badge will only be available with a manual. Same thing with all Fords that had the ST badge. ST or RS means manual. This is a proper enthusiasts car.

Owned a Ford Focus RS mk2 and am now running about in a mk3 Mountune uprated version, the mk3 is insane but for me the mk2 will always be better👍
