DETAILS PLEASE! A video entitled "Drive Modes Explained" should explain what changes take place in the dive modes. What changes in power distribution does the AWD system make when it's in sport? What changes does the steering make? What changes does the engine make? What changes does the exhaust make? I was so excited when I saw this video, but it didn't explain anything... :(
I can explain in short the changes in the power is just a throttle responds and peak goes to maximum and the clutch engagement is short when it is in (sport,track,drift) AWD system feels different when it is on track and drift (track= close distribution % F%R) (drift=30:70) steering becomes harder in sport and track exhaust valve opens depends on throttle and mode ( more pops and cracks for the 3 performance modes but still you can hear some in normal) ( the valve is at the rear end in the left side of the muffler and it is the closer exit for the sound than the right side exit but there is slight difference in sound for both when the valves open)
You obviously don't know how the average person mindset works, "hey this button says drift, that must mean it is okay do do every corner!" or "hey lets drift in the parking lot full of curbs pulls and trees" Just an observation of how people drive their brand new cars if it says it can do something than the average buyer will assume it can do it and make them a pro at it.
hamronD73 idk I see powerful cars get wrecked all the time by idiots that just buy them because they are cool i doubt the Focus will be any different being people seem to afford corvettes, s/c mustangs, gtrs, etc.. Does it remember what drive mode I choose everytime I start the ignition and stay that way after until another drive mode selection I chose over rides the previous drive mode selection that I chose over there from the previous ignition, in the U.K. europe or greater area?

+richard remi - except the Nitrous 'Baby' Blue is horrendous colour to make as the flagship, should have stuck with Performance Blue or Ultimate Green. Has to be Shadow Black or Magnetic to look good. They even offer the ST's Stealth (primer grey), which is worse than the blue.

I've never understood the point of driving modes. My car always has all of its performance on tap, and I simply drive harder when I feel the need. I guess if you need to change shift points on an automatic, but those don't belong in track cars to begin with.
I believe most if not all of the ecoboost engines are made in germany. But I think it will soon change to reduce manufacturing/shipping costs in the US.
Incorrect. Only the RS is Germany everything. No other Fords ecoboost is made in Germany. People also have to understand too that, ecoboost doesn't mean twin turbo or single turbo. However, only the 4 cylinder cars are single turbo, all the V6's are twin turbo.

forget this rubbish, a rs should be eating gravel for breakfast, not posing in high streets. they should be a rally/race car with back seats not a fast focus in a pretty frock. rs is a motor sport thing and this isn't a motor sport car. rs should be for homologation and nothing more. And it was until about 15-20 years ago. This is just a modern day xr4x4 not a modern day rs1800 or cosworth. its a laughing stock. and the boy racers and show offs that will buy it are blind to the reality. at least the mk1 and 2 had VERY distant equivalents in rallying. this has nothing, less even than the st focus has in touring cars (again VERY distant). rant over.

I can explain in short

Nice! The city of Valencia looks great. I must admit it'd be nice to also have an individual mode for all those settings. It's very convenient.

AWD. The Drift mode probably shifts more power to the rear wheels so it drifts like a Nissan GTR.
