Always relaxing to watch. I still don’t really enjoy repotting haha, but watching you is fun for som reason. So nice that you have a greenhouse to work in, and don’t have to worry about making a mess or being bothered by other distractions. 😅
Here to say I love stratum! I've used for 5-6 months now. Such easy transitions to soil! I feel like I've seen those kind of spots on clemensiorum before and it was normal(?)

Lovely video and quite relaxing watching someone repot their plants. A couple of questions if you don’t mind. What is the potting medium you use for your cuttings?
Also I love the pots the first Hoya and the tequila sunrise were placed in. When it comes time to up-pot these, will the fact that the top of the pots is narrower than the bottom make it difficult to remove the plants?
Fluval Stratum is what I was rooting them in and I also have a video dedicated to this if you want to check it out. I've never had an issue with the shape of those pots in terms of removing plants from it :)

Don’t think I’ll find anything like it here in the uk but I have seen pots with narrower tops, so feel a little more confident to get one now. Thanks again💚

Also do you like the stratum better than coconut fiber?
Thanks so much! I've never use coco coir as a single growing medium. I've always used it as an amendment to my potting mix so I can't really compare it to stratum. Stratum I find to be very good in terms of getting plants to root but I wouldn't keep it in there long term now that I've used it for a while. I have noticed most of my plants tend to be happier repotted into potting mix after being rooted in stratum.

I do reuse the stratum unless the plant has issues.
Tracey I would be so scared to move them from Fluvum after they are doing so well. How do you know when it's safe to move? What does your soil consist of?
I use stratum as a rooting substrate mainly and once they are fully rooted I would consider that a sign I can move it to regular potting mix. As for my potting mix, I actually have quite a few videos up where I discuss what I use. Feel free to check them out :)

Hi Stacie. Very inspirational video. The terracotta colors are so beautiful and vibrant. Question. Do you reuse the Fluvum that you that you set aside?
I'm honestly not sure how long the nutrients in stratum lasts so I would usually add in new stratum if I am repotting a plant that had older stratum but generally yes I would try to reuse it unless the plant had pests or other issues.
