20 grams of yeast
100 ml (⅓ cup + 1 tbsp) lukewarm milk
100 ml (⅓ cup + 1 tbsp) lukewarm water
pinch of salt
1 egg white
80ml oil
2 tbsp sugar
500 g (4 cups + 2 tbsp) flour
jam
powdered sugar
For smearing:
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp milk
Bake: 180°C / 356°F 25 mins.

The receipt looks like the one for the Danish cinnamon buns, but is a cheeper version. Give a try nexr time just it milk 3,5%, and hall egg and a good quality butter, not oil. If you also let the dough to rest and rise one night in the fridge, will be easier to work with on the next day and the result after baking will be nicer. I a2baking this type of doug at 205 degrees for 14 to 16 minutes.

Очень понравились весы , видимо антиквариат и деревянная лопаточка для муки. А ещё понравилось что нет суеты , плавные движения рук , и всё так просто и понятно . И не надо слов , только действие. Респект хозяюшке.

Я думаю, что перевели "Gebäck" как "печение ". В итальянской версии рецепта употребляли слово "pasticceria".

Help! I can't figure out what yeast she is using, nor how to convert it to the Fleishmans dry yeast packets we have here in the States. If she's using fresh yeast it's a whole different amount than if she's using dry yeast. Not being a Baker, I'm lost. Can you tell me how much dry yeast to use? Also, my conversion chart says 100 MLS equals 2/5 of a cup, but it looks like more in her cup. What do you think?

Ta ilosc drozdzy: 20gram zywych drozdzy lub 7 gram suchych drozdzy wystarczy na 500 gram/ 0,5 kilogramu maki.
Mleko to 100 mililitrow. 1litr mleka to 10x 100 mililitrow. Szklanka/kubek w Europie to objetosc 250 mililitrow. W USA to pewnie tyle samo. Na filmie widze ilosci poprawnie odmierzone. Nic mniej i nic wiecej. Zmieniajac proporcje mleka trzeba zmienic proporcje ostatnich produktow. Rada odnosnie mleka: mleko podgrzej, ale nie gotuj. Ja robie "test palca". Jak wlozysz palec do mleka i Cie oparzy, to mleko jest za gorace i zabije drozdze. Powodzenia z wypiekami ☝️😎

Beautiful, this reminds me of pastries that my mother made when I was young. I have a suggestion though. Some of your pastries were rising before you were finished forming the rest. This ended up giving you pastries of different sizes. Refrigerate the folded pastries until they are all folded, then give them another 15 minutes so that they are all the same temperature, then let them rise. 😎
Perhaps the shaping was done slowly for the purpose of showing the method. In reality the shaping could be done much more quickly.
Personnaly, I prefer doing pastries of different sizes to give the choice of a small, medium or big pastry depending of your appetite or your concern about consuming a little or a lot of calories. Thank you for this beautiful pastry. I will definitely try it soon, I'm dying to taste it.
@@BibiBarbot If they were evenly measuring the amount of dough, it wouldn't matter whether or not it rose larger or smaller, it's still the same amount of calories.
@@WolfeWrangle I had a stroke a couple yrs ago, so I thought maybe I was thinking WRONG as I was thinking the same thing, if ya eat a whole one of any size it’s same calories. Lol
@@WolfeWrangle I think Bibi intends to not proportion them to the same size. I make various size biscuits, bialys, and cookies because in my family we all consider one portion a different size, lol. The only thing to consider with various portion sizes is they take different amounts of time to bake.
