Medal of Honor actually lives up to AAA VR hype but 99% of the reviewers played the first 10 minutes of the first mission and it shows. This game looks absolutely amazing

Another tech demo that shows you all this cool stuff they did and moves on to the next cool thing they did
shoving you through this linear showcase of features that never comes back again.
You get to punch that dude in the face but cannot punch other enemies?
You get these tasks to do that isn’t figuring anything out it just presents these blue areas as to where you need to place your hand(s)
If you like playing Simon Says than this seems like fun.

@@icykickflip Your description can be applied to Titanfall's campaign, regarded as one of the GOAT FPS. This is classic Respawn - every "mission" has new assets, new goals, new mechanics, nothing is rehashed. Remember that iconic time travel mission? That mechanic is never used outside of that mission. This is also why it's regarded as one of the best single player FPS campaigns - because each mission is unique.
It's not move mouse to bad guy and left click to shoot, rinse, repeat, just like 99% of all COD/BF games. I mean if you're happy doing the same rehashed thing mission after mission, then I'm sure you'd be entertained watching NASCAR go around in circles.

This is just another showcase that does exactly what you agreed with me on. "Nothing is rehashed" you don't get any of those cool features unless you restart/replay the whole campaign.

All of the weapons/hand positions look stiff to me, from what I understand there is 0 melee at all/ 0 meaningful physics interactions, I don't understand how this is everything but ppl still sleep on Boneworks

@@savage0gre670 I purchased bone works and I just don't get it. Alyx is regarded as the best vr game and doesn't really have melee or physics. To me bonworks is a cool tech demo whereas alyx and MOH put you in a story that you can live out. Just depends on what you're looking for, but it doesn't make one or the other trash.

Cool game and all, but I can see the plot points miles away. Games, especially these WWII genre ones, need to stop doing this because it's not a staple; it's a cliche now. Don't give us 2 NPC's we're supposedly supposed to sympathize with that we're going to have to chose one or the other in the end to save. It's going to come down to save Ollie who puts himself into needless risk because he wants to be a hero or save Juliette because while she's the primary target for rescue, she also doesn't seem to care about self-sacrifice. If this ends up being a spoiler, then I can't be sorry about it. Again, I'm seeing this similar vague setup a few AU away and I'm not going to be surprised if that's the case.

@@lukel980 yes BUT VR is a new type of gaming and vr still has alot of hiccups because it is still so brand new technology wise they we have just gotten games that look incredible with good shaders and environment not every company has the power to do that yet. also since vr is so new there has been a small handful games that have been looking great and has awesome performance. yes it does not look great but remember this it is a new type of new console it going to have production hiccups between companies nothing is going to look great untill VR has been mastered. i mean they still haven't found a way to make VR headsets more cheaper and improve on performance and quality. VR is still in its infant stages it not going to have top teir graphics and performance its working its way up.
