@@doolanbrian thanks. I’m sure I will! I will receive it next week.I already have a 2008 Honda Jazz, its undestructable! The thing I find strange on the Civic is that it has heated rear seats (in Portugal we only have two months of cold) but it doesnt have rear vents (its hot from june to september, having rear vents hould be nice).
Love your style of presenting Brian, a lot of people who 'present' car reviews on youtube could do with watching your videos with the amount & type of information that you give, its never boring & always great fun to watch!! (Yes i'm still learning about my civic)
Really liked the way you presented the Honda Civic and the detail you went into was very helpful and easy to understand you , I bought one of these cars very happy with it
I really like that car. Next car is not an ev or hybrid, but a diesel. 30 km/l Honda diesel 1.6. It can tow a caravan too 1.400 Kg on the hook. What's not to like?
Was the oil dilution ever a problem on the civic diesels Brian ? I know that the 1.5 litre petrol in particular had issues albeit mostly in colder climates.
Hey thanks for watching , which model did you find was rusting ? I normally find some cars can display rust after 15 years or so but it depends where they were driven over their lives :)
@@doolanbrian no problem. Nice video. I hawe 06- 2015 civic elegance 1.6 i-dtec and under the car and under hood is a lot of rust. This is not normal for a 5 years car. The car was driven only in Germany. Hawe a nice day.
@@TX2673XA Check out your service book and warranty book, they should give you details on your warranty , if its not rusting from external damage (e.g. stone chips) then you could have a chance to claim warranty !
I have been contemplating buying a Honda Civic 1.0 VTEC (turbo). Have read some horror stories lately regarding the cam/timing belt. Now considering going back to diesel. Any advice appreciated. Great channel👍
Thanks for watching, the belt is expensive on the 1.0 petrol, if I had the choice between diesel 1.6, petrol 1.0 or petrol 1.5, every time I will go for the 1.5 petrol, great power decent economy, no belt to be changed, hope that helps! 1.5 a little bit more expensive to purchase but worth it I think
We only have diesel in this car available for two more years and then everything from then onwards will be petrol or petrol hybrid! Thanks for watching!

Hey 👋 Krista … there are two portions of driving .. the first portion explains the honda sensing features which are the same in all models .. that is a standard Pre recorded clip I used for a number of civic videos .. the second portion of driving shows the diesel car on the road .. it’s about 10/11 mins in .. maybe you didn’t watch that far .. it’s from -> 10:40 onwards 🙂✌️
I’ve just bought a 2018 Honda Civic Executive Premium 1.6 diesel.
Honda makes great cars.
Congratulations from Portugal 🇵🇹
Nice one 💪🙂 I think you will enjoy it 🙂🙂

Good informative video as usual, I have a Civic 1.0 CVT SR spec here in the UK and it is the best car I have owned.
Thanks Ray !! Appreciate you watching !!! :) :)

Good news in Ireland, we never had dilution on 1.5 p or 1.6 d 💪🙂

Dose it rust like the other civic before this model ?!

Thats pretty unusual, have you been to your dealer ?? It should be easy to sort out :)
Yes i am going to my dealer here in Greece.error code p24c6.

Does this model have anoying start stop system?
Every civic with a diesel or petrol engine has start stop since approx 2012 🙂
