    I wish everyone would stop trying to make money off their subscribers. I watch your channel because because you are a real person. Kids toys in the way, I made a huge mistake so I am going to try this. When you start pushing products and a subscription, I lose all faith in your biases of products. I would rather see one video a month of you being real than paying money to see you pump out mediocre videos for profit. Maybe it’s just me, but I have subscription fatigue.

      Well said....That's how alot of channels are becoming and it's sad some people just want information on basic things that work that people can get there hands on like from box stores giving options with results is great!

    I used Tenacity and it definitely killed the weeds......AND MY LAWN AS WELL!!!, not to mention everything that did live turned white and stood that way for months, so that product is definitely for specific and limited use, like seeding from a bare dirt yard 😮

    Like the "meadow" look in the backyard. Yes, Yes, Yes, I do like how it looks after you've mowed it, but remember how it feels running through it barefooted as a kid.

    You should always water grass unless it rained before using sedgehammer herbicide because the water stimulates the grass making the sedgehammer work faster and better.Good Video!

    I'm surprised the nutsedge is still there 🤷‍♂️ channel memberships are kind of funny I feel like that only works one way like subscribers 😉. I think selling merchandise is a awesome way for people to help support there favorite channels.

    Do your subscribers a favor... forget Sedgehammer. 1-2 weeks for results? multiple applications? Why? One word for you... Dismiss. Sold in many places. I got rid of a ton of mature nutsedge on 2-3 days. Was very impressed.

    Question, just moved in a new home and starting to learn lawn care. If I have a lawn full of weeds with little bit of grass., Should I use a premergent right now even if they have tons of weeds already? (Transitional zone)I plan on renovating next fall and currently waiting on soil test results. Thanks

    No support for channel membership. It’s a hobby. Stop spending money on give-aways. Also, “Spectracide” weed stop for lawns is best hose-end product out right now, IMO (also kills nutsedge).

    Hate to be the cynical one in your group of your subscribers but here it goes.
    Did you get into CZcams for the money when you started the channel, what is it 4 yrs now?
    Due to your subscribers, you became a popular choice as a diy lawn guy.
    Due to your subscribers you have been classified as an influencer in the lawn niche.
    Due to your subscribers, you were noticed by lawn and garden suppliers, distributors and manufacturers.
    Due to your subscribers, were you not given free lawn equipment and other items to use, review and comment on and keep?
    We give you our time to view, like or dislike your content, and comment.
    Our time is not compensated to us monetarily, but in the information and entertainment
    Due to your subscribers, your channel AND OUR views of your channel CZcams compensates you monetarily.
    BAD IDEA, TIM, BAD IDEA!

    • @GrassDaddy
      @GrassDaddy  Před 4 lety

      Your time isn't compensated??? Seriously?? If you get free advice you want to be compensated? C'mon man that's going a bit far to compare watching a video to the time it takes to produce the content and the costs for purchasing products and the costs for the equipment to make the videos.. oh and the software to make the videos..
      Anyways, as stated I simply asked to see if there was any demand. It's a feature I am now able to use that I didn't have before. I get a lot of freebies but I don't get everything free. I've spent tens of thousands to produce these videos and I love doing it. If the channel made more money whether by ad revenue, channel memberships, or tshirt sales I would put it all back into buying equipment to do reviews and comparisons.
      For instance I'm frequently told in my electric vs gas mower video that the ego I'm using is their old model. They got a better one now. Or what about the kobalt or ryobi. They haven't sent me those so I'd have to buy them all to make the video. Just a couple thousand for a video that will make maybe $100. Which I'd be fine with if I could afford it but I can't right now ;)

    • @billkeefe9118
      @billkeefe9118 Před 4 lety

      Tim, maybe you misread the comment. I stated: “ Our time is not compensated to us monetarily, but in the information and entertainment.”
      And you never addressed the direct question I asked: Did you get into CZcams to make money?
