I’m 13 weeks pregnant with our 4th baby. We lost our 3rd at 9 weeks in the fall. Milena hit the nail on the head, that was a different child that we won’t get to know on this earth. I still cry about the baby I didn’t get to meet even though I’m happy to be expecting another. ❤

I had a miscarriage 2.5 years ago. The grief definitely still comes in waves. I’ve since had my rainbow baby and I am so so thankful for her, but she’s not a replacement of the one I lost. I’ll always wonder what would’ve or could’ve been. I see God’s plan in it all, but the sadness for that child will always be there until I get to heaven.

God gives man’s talents to advance medicine. Man corrupts many things just like they currupted marriage with same sex marriage. Or corrupted sex with sex outside of marriage but that doesn’t make marriage a bad thing. God created marriage.
Only God alone can breathe life. Every IVF child alive today is alive because God breathed life into them. Scientist can try all they want in the lab but God does the life breathing.
There are ethical ways to do IVF. Not every IVF process is unethical. Just because man corrupted it doesn’t mean it’s wrong. There are many responsible Christian families doing IVF who request to only have small amounts of embryos that they will give birth and life to. Not everyone is doing 10s of 20s of 100s. There are alternatives.

I am so glad that Brittany has not gone the route of IVF and that feeling she has is conviction from the Holy Spirit! The reason she says she didn’t feel right about it is because IVF is really playing the role of God. He is the one that opens and closes the womb. Scripture is full of this truth throughout the ages. Also when someone does adopt a frozen embryo it is called a snowflake adoption. very sad that there are frozen embryos just sitting in a chemist lab somewhere.

My water brooke at 21 weeks. We stay at the hospital until 23 weeks, my baby and I were in danger so the doctors induce my labor. At that moment we knew that our baby could die and we pray a lot saying that our God was sovereing and He has the last word. Our daughter lived outside of my womb for 3 hours and the Lord decided to take her into his presence. We hold her during that time, we kiss her, we talk to her, we sing her "Jesus loves me" and read the Psalm 23 to her until she stop breathing.
This have been the most hard thing that I experienced in my entire life. Now, almost two months later still hurts, the Lord has been with us all the time teaching us to rest in him and trust even when we dont understand the purpose behind this. I've been feeling a lot of fear of getting pregnat again, the battle in the mind is really heavy. My only refuge has been praying a lot and reading the Scripture, hear worship music and testimonies. I'm really glad that you share your story and now this video. God bless you all, He is our good Sheperd, loving Father and faithful friend. 🧡🙌

And I have no problem with people adopting the embryos, at least they are saving some. They were no selfish in the least because they took a child someone else threw away and were able to bring him into the world, love him, provide for him and care for him. And they tried for adoption in general but the state has a billin reasons why people who would deeply love and cherish adopted kids get turned down for adoptions.

And plus, embryo adoption is much cheaper than doing ivf yourself. That being said I think its wrong to judge people who have already made the decision to do ivf. You truly don't know if they did it responsibly, and you don't know if God guided them to do it. My 2nd cousin and her husband paid for the whole procedure themselves and it was several thousand dollars. I dont like or agree IVF at all however I do appreciate the people who decide to give these frozen litte ones a chance at life. These are beautiful children made in God's image and at the end He still decides if any IVF embryo will continue to grow and develop or if he will take that precious soul home.

We do have to admit that if we truly want God's will, it may run counter to what we want. I think too that most infertile couples reject foster adoption. That needs to be rethought out. @MyWifeUsesMyAccount A friend of mine adopted embryos that were over 20 years old. Those poor babies just sat there, frozen for years. If they would have been born when they were supposed to, they would be graduating college, getting married, and living beautiful lives. But that chance was stolen from they due to the selfishness of their parents. Even so, those parents were less selfish than the millions of people who do IVF, get the baby that they want, and then throw the others away. IVF contributes to mass abortion. Also, look into the lawsuits. A doctor put his own semen into the eggs without the parent's knowledge. How do you know that that child is even yours? Also, children have been mixed up. Wrong embryos put into the wrong women. It is a mess. Just something to look in to. All my best to you.

Two of my favourite people. I so wish sometimes that I can join you for coffee. My husband and I have been walking through infertility for 3y1m. It has been the single most difficult thing I have ever had to navigate through. However, what I have learned about the Lord and His faithfulness is unreal. Nothing else in the world would have taught me this otherwise. We are not interested in IVF, I am on hormones, but it took me close to 3 years to agree to it - I had blind faith that God will do it naturally. I still do, and felt defeated when I agreed. But the Lord gave me so much peace during it all; in the thick of feeling so ill, so weak, the Lord is so strong. This generation (born from us) is truly set apart by God because I truly believe they will usher in the return of Jesus and they need prayer mammas and pappas to raise up to stand in what will be probablt the most difficult times, for the Kingdom. We needed to be refined. And truly learn how to tap into the grace of God. Thank you for this.

You can limit how many eggs they pull, you can also make requests for how many embryos you are willing to having created. You can even limit it to one. The reason the doctors push for me is because of the cost expense. But there are ways to do IVF in an ethical Christian way with your convictions. I have a doctor in OC I used and he does “natural” medication free IVF where you can do it drug free so there for you only have one natural egg available for use. And I believe fully that even if my son was made in a dish that God knit him together himself because there is no way for the embryo to be made besides God.

@@Pointblankhome the doctor lets the women go through her natural cycle and they monitor the development of your single natural egg with ultrasounds during ovulation. Then with the right timing, they perform an egg retrieval to retrieve your natural produced one egg. And then attempt to create one single embryo from that egg. It isn’t a path commonly talked about because since IVF is so costly so some people prefer to have a few more eggs(for better odds) to work with since not every fertilized egg develops into an embryo. But there are doctors who take a conservative approach with even medicated egg retrievals providing smaller numbers like 6 eggs retrieved resulting in about 3 embryos.

I am just starting the podcast. I hope they go into two very important issues: 1. The principle that God opens and closes the womb is firmly established in scripture. Manipulating that circumstance is like Abraham and Hagar. Hannah is the biblical example for childless women. 2. The stats on how many frozen embryos (humans) are being held indefinitely because the couple doesn't want more children, but also don't want to adopt them out but also don't want to destroy (kill) them. This is evil. So, because a handful of people are doing this more ethically does not excuse the whole diabolical industry.

An example I have from a Christian perspective food for thought…just because the world corrupts something doesn’t make it sinful in its original intent from God. MARRIAGE, for example. The world has twisted and corrupted and made marriage something that God has not intended(same sex marriage example) but that does not make MARRIAGE wrong. It makes the way the world has twisted it to be wrong.
Same thing applies for IVF. God has given man the talents and skill to do amazing advancements in the medical field. That doesn’t make those advancements sinful. What makes them sinful is when the world corrupts them I.e. abortions and unethically making embryos that will never be used. But there is a Christian Ethical way to go about IVF. Upon your request (for tons of money however) clinics WILL do natural IVF cycles using your one singular egg produced, or you can even limit embryos created to just one.
The same God that knits a child together in the womb is the same miraculous God who knit my child together in a lab. It’s a beautiful miracle and act of God. Nothing breathers life but God. Scientists can implant all that want but that doesn’t mean an embryo is created. God breathes life

IVf crosses into the realm of playing GOD. You have then the ability to choose only the healthy embryos and also what gender, color eyes, etc. those things should be left to God. He is the one that opens and closes the wombs. Just because doctors can make an embryo in a Petri dish and then implant it in a woman doesn’t mean they should. It is about what is ethical and moral based on the Bible.

i had 5 chemical pregnancies before my second daughter and it was such an emotional roller coaster, i was told to start taking 1 baby aspirin a day to encourage vascular development and i kept the next pregnancy going through 9 months. I understand things like that and other things that help progesterone levels etc. i dont know what my stance on IVF is.... Ive fortunately never been put in the position to need it, and i really sont want to jusge its not my place. after seeing the gay couple who had a surrogate and then found out the surrogate had cancer and to treat it the baby would have to be taken early and would be in the nicu, they forced her to have the pregnancy terminated. Because the baby was esrly, zero parental instincts... I just was heartbroken over it when i heard, the surrogate was on allie stuckey. So theres definitely a slippery slope of things like that where babies are made and then discarded like they mean nothing when life is so so precious..i understand people have great IVF experiences and are great parents and obviously are so so wanted.... So im torn but definitely leaning in and looking for more info but

I saw online but I don’t know how true it is that when you carry a baby even after they leave your womb, you still carry their dna and cells. Made me feel so happy thinking that even the one I lost is still apart of me in a way. Your babies are still apart of you too 🫶🏼🤎

I’m assuming that the posting of this video plus the silence on IG means that you had you baby? If so congratulations, and hopefully everything was smooth and uneventful. If not, I’m praying for a smooth and peaceful, and healthy labor and delivery!

My friend went through Ivf twice and it didn’t work so she was just in for a bigger heartbreak ❤️‍🩹
