- Okay this part is an exception. I already upload this today because I won't be home tomorrow and secondly it's so short and unimportant part (note that I have upload TWO parts today. So don't miss part 134 with tons of Larias). Otherwise I'm still continuing the uploading in the new manner using tv airdates. So next part will be up on Thursday and I don't know will it be short clip or longer one yet.

I don't think they are talking about the age of consent when they say Lari is underage. I think they are talking about the age of majority (when you are considered an adult) which is 18 in Finland. Since Lari is still a minor, his father continues to have authority over him. Thus Lari would be considered a runaway and actually could be returned to his father's home by the police if his dad had chosen to go down that route.
Janne is seriously on the wrong wave length here. Now that his kidding Tale has been exposed as bullying and since the incident in which the group supported Tale by writing PYLLY on their own foreheads, Tale has become more assertive, and Janne needs to wake up and change directions before he become a pariah, the odd man out. I don't want that for him.

MissFin could probably explain it better (as she did a long while back), but Lari and his classmates are soon graduating what would be middle school in the US. They were 15 when the story started, so are probably 16 now. And the school system works different in Finland and most kids graduate at 19 instead of 18 in America. So they haven't even entered high school yet. Still a long way to go!

On the other hand Finland is quite socialist country, they'd probably ask Lari why he ran away and probably separate him from his father if he'd tell the truth.

What grade are they suppose to be in? Are they graduating from High School ? When the series first started I am sure they were suppose to be 16 yet they keepmentioning that Lari is underage? Wheat is the legal age of consent in Finland?
