- So here we have little extra since the actual Larias story line has been on break. But in this clip we have plenty of Elias and little bit of Lari as well too :)

Back when Salatut Elamat was a lot more light hearted and funny. Omg Janne you badass! Doing dodgy piercings in his free time. He cracks me up every time. "I even studied how to do it" Yeah, by watching CZcams.

Yes, his name is Onni Taalasmaa. Onni means "luck, joy" in Finnish and like you said is super popular name in Finland. Actually it was the most popular boys name in 2012 and Elias was the second most popular :D But it's not because of this show, these names have already been really popular about 5 years now :)
Onni is his real name. Tale is only a nickname, short from his family name Taalasmaa :)

This has to be one of the funniest episode yet. Hysterical. Perhaps the writer felt it was best to lighten the mood after all the heavy stuff that has been going on. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

It's not April in the show but November, the episodes are shot 5-6 months before they air and the season and month they live in the show is always different than in real life.
This and the Ida thing were combo episodes. This contains Tale parts from 3 different tv episodes and the Ida one from 4 different tv episodes so their parts aren't any longer than Larias' parts.

Tes the internet episodes air always previous day than they air from tv and Monday's episodes on Friday. However now the show will air for the rest of the spring only mon-thu so Monday's episode airs on internet tv today. But the episode where Larias is in is the Tuesday's episode airing on internet tv on Monday, so that's when we'll get the next part :)

Well actually I know what is gonna happen next and when (we will have Larias again on Monday), but this is only unofficial info I got and not from the official spoilers. Even though I believe the info is true, I don't wanna post it cos it isn't 100% sure. The MTV3 official spoilers have changed quite a lot from the fall, nowadays they are much shorter and only spoil half of the stuff happening in the show so that's why there's no mention of the boys in the spoilers so much anymore...

I like how all characters get turns at being first because we get to see how all their stories fit in with Elias and Lari. When Larias brought the show to the entire world - I am sure that the writers are working on how to progress now. The boys are straight and playing gay teenagers so there is only so much they can do. All the others are needed to keep their story complete. Missfinlandia88 does a wonderful job of working out exactly the parts I want to see. Thank you.

I thought, given Matleena's speech, that they were all giving speeches on famous writers or famous people. My guess is that it was Onni Palaste. Though I confess I found that name by looking it up in Wikipedia.

Maybe my humor is a little off the wall, but the absurd way to create the piercing left me imagining Janne having to go get pliers to free Tale's tongue from the nail (hit with hammer) and the board used as a tongue rest! I wonder how many people will now not/rush out to get piercings? Tale is proving himself to be quite the masochist in his quest to woo Matleena!

Am I the only one who closed their eyes when Janne raised that hammer?? Ugghhh, I can't even handle my kids baby teeth when they fall out.
The time-lag has always been apparent. Casting my mind back, first there were the CZcams videos made by "Montpensiers88". That was - a year ago? Those must have been episodes filmed as long ago as late 2011. And now, May 2013, we're seeing stuff filmed in late 2012. And that was still BEFORE the Finnish media discovered that Elias & Lari had a global following (thanks to Missfinlandia). Meaning we have yet to see the knock-on effect (if any) of that discovery on the makers of Salatut Elämät..
I have a quick question. Did this all take place before or after Lari a Elias reunited? I ask because at 6:21 you can see Lari starring at Elias (in his general direction at least) in class with a half smile.

Thanks MissFinn! I like seeing the gang with or without Larias, but I'm gonna bitch a little, anyway. Anybody else notice/mind that the Larias reunion got 3 minutes one night and 30 seconds the next, while Tale's piercing got 10 minutes, and Ida's anorexia epiphany got 11 minutes? Having waited months to see the reunion, I'm bummed out that the show has given Larias so little importance.
I can't believe Tale would be that dumb to let Janne pierce his tongue with a hammer and a nail. Of all people, Janne? Watching Tale pull his tongue out, Janne put a nail on it, raise the hammer with other hand, and Tale screaming made me laugh so hard I had to stop the clip. I swear it looked like a scene from the 3 Stooges.

As soon as Janne was shown with the needle and the lighter I started to squirm. I have piercings and I can't even imagine doing them at home. WORST IDEA EVER. infection waiting to happen. kind of glad Tale got blood poisoning (and that he's ok). serves him right.
