Doki Doki Exit Music is literally the first piece of media to break me... I watched a no commentary playthrough that was like 6 and a half hours long. And oh my god. I have not cried at anything like that before. The relationship with her is fleshed out so long, and the dark themes hit you so god damn hard in the gut. Despite this, I think she should've lived. Or it should of had closure. I think it just has a sorta sour ending because Mc doesn't even care that Yuri caused it, and him blaming himself just seems like a blunt plot device. It's almost like he kills himself just so that the main character can kill himself at the end. Despite these critisms (that're likely just me being biased) the rest of the story is, near perfect. When the intense music is playing while you're trying to save natsuki, when the whole falling asleep together thing happens, and when they officially start dating. It was genuinely beautiful. (Again tho they didn't have to die 😭)
The whole thing with MC wanting to himself. It really is just a plot device. I would've liked to see him continue to live for Natsuki's sake. But I totally agree that it is a beautiful mod! I love it!
Summer hope, exit music (ending is soul crushing though), normal vn are amazing. Heartstruck needs to be completed ASAP. Snafu has one of the BEST Mc i've ever seen. Overall every Natsuki story is good. Enjoy reading her story everytime and I like her character a lot.
Man [ H e r ] is such a divisive mod, Personally I'm really into the darker kinds of stories, and seeing how it doesn't take a dive into any of the main ddlc characters like most mods do, but instead takes a dive at YOU the player? And not just you specifically, but some other people out there who have obsession issues? Really spoke to me. Nobody has ever done something like that in a ddlc mod before. Seeing how a person is broken down, and then at the very end redeemed by their own self strength is really inspiring and is genuinely really impressive that it was done in the medium of visual novels. I really didnt like daniel though, and like 80% of the comedy in the story. It should've stuck to it's serious tone more. Still really good mod in my opinion.
@@igoesrawrr yeah daniel was annoying. Even in other Blackscientist mods. Blackscientist mods in general are pretty weird. [ H e r ] is probably my favorite mod from him, but I'm still kind of disgusted by how he treated you. Sometimes you gotta separate the work from the creator.
Imo the interview club mod definitely seems like a very long mod. But that's for more of a chill mod. One that you get to know characters. I've just started on Monika's part of it, and it's taking some time. But I enjoy what people ask and how she responds to them. I find it actually pretty funny.
I finished the mod, and I thought it was really nice. The OCs Tiffany and Shiro are really awesome and are well-written. I played the creator's Take Two mod as well. I didn't do all of the routes, but I knew something was up with Tiffany since the interview mod. It just shocked me what it was. It seems Shiro is the only normal one so far. We'll see.

Ok I got a question, you been saying in your streams and in some of your videos that the Ddlc community doesn't really like you, or they don't welcome you with the warmest arm's and I been hoping you tell me why from your experience, because I don't know why you seem like a nice guy.

Pretty much as jush said. If you actually ask anyone in the community why they dislike me, all they can really say is “degenerate clickbaiter”, or “idk I just don’t like him”. The community banded together 2 years ago to exile me for the “reason” listed above and made it cool to hate me because I’m “cringe”. So yeah, almost every time I try to talk to someone from the community, all they do is mimic me, mock me, joke at me and overall, treat me as less than human. *shrugs*
And I think they finally stopped doing it, but they’d even go as far as to delete all my Reddit posts I would make just because they’d see it and type “ew it’s rawr” and then delete it even though I was following all the rules. Since then, things have gotten slightly better, but it’s all still pretty fucked.
As you can tell, this all starts to get pretty depressing really, which is why I never go in depth talking about it on a published CZcams video that will stand the test of time. Instead, I’ll just make small little jabs sometimes to highlight the mistreatment.
@@igoesrawrr That's just dumb, like just you because you put questionable thumbnails doesn't just mean that automatically makes you a bad CZcamsr/person. I mean I've seen alot of CZcamsrs do weird and cringe things but get a crap ton of likes for it. Also I've been noticing this alot recently but the community kinda has a love/hate relationship with anything a little bit lewd or NSFW like your thumbnails a little bit. Why? I kinda have a clear picture because modders would use nsfw in there videos to get views *cough* bike. But other than that it's basically just like "NO! We don't want anything lewd in our mods, it hurts our pure and clean minds"
Definitely an L. The mod is so good that it got me into the series it was based off of. The best part is: it isn’t just a recreation of the original series. It definitely adds its own uniqueness into the mod, which means it replayable after watching/playing the original game.
It’s definitely does a good job at highlighting people that have it. I don’t think it really cures it for any of them though since they will likely find the mod annoying as it does kind of mock them.
[ H e r ] is the personification of wasted potential, breaking out of the game and going into reality is something ive never seen from a mod before, being manipulated and brainwashed by monika, wanting to return to normal, being able to overcome her manipulation by your friend begging you, it was great.. until it wasnt.. the mod had a lot of unnecessary swearing (I like swearing but it felt like a 7th grader discovering swearing for the first time) not to mention the MC is a self insert which is REALLY cringe self insert mods make me believe they are made by sad losers. daniel was the last straw I never liked troll characters he was annoying, unnecessary, and the jokes he made were cringe overall the beginning was amazing but then it got worse and worse it felt like black scientist gave up halfway overall its a 2/10 but the concept was a 10/10 executed poorly.
I have now finished world of dreams and I’d actually put it even lower on my tier list now xD Beginning is good, but the rest really starts going downhill in my opinion. Every interesting concept felt like it got pushed to the back burner to just give us a fun slice of life with boring drama randomly cropping back up throughout.
@@igoesrawrr I thought it was good whenever it was focusing on the main plot and not so much when it dealt with all these random side stories that didn't feel important. The most interesting part of the mod was definitely all the plot points that revolved around trying to subvert the game's script and trying to figure out how to separate you and Meiji. I didn't mind some of the extra character's such as Meiji, Meiji's parents, and Sayori's parents however most of the other characters could have honestly been scrapped and it wouldn't have changed anything important.
