Thanks again. It is correct that when you bump up the contrast it gets darker. Increasing contrast means make dark darker and light lighter.
How do I activate this in my Volkswagen id4 2022 I I can only see the left not the right camera
Thanks for the review! Question, is there a microSD slot in the glovebox? My e-Golf has it, great to be able to save all my music files on a microSD card and play them from there.
Can you demonstrate the 360 camera view by pulling into a parking space to see if the 360 cameras will show the the car inside the lines? or parallel the ID.4 next to a curb to see if the 360 cameras will allow you to avoid the curb?
The 360 view in the video doesn't look as detailed as the 360 camera view in the Chevy Bolt EV, but that could be because you were on a blacktop road.

My ID.3 only has the normal front and rear camera at the height of the retivision mirror. Do you know if these cameras, the one in front in the vw logo and those of the two mirrors can be bought in a kit at VW?
people (1?) added areaview afterwards.. you just need acces to dealertools and firmwire access. a random dealer wont do this for you.
@@EV.Furkan I was commenting because I would like to have the Travell Assist, currently I only have the lane assist and I think that the Travel assist would not work without the cameras of the mirrors and the front hidden in the VW logo
@@jusalyso Travel assist should really only need the front windshield camera and radar under the vw logo
Can you use the rear camera as a rearview mirror when driving forwards?
Till 15 kmh sure. Then it shutdowns. Maybe in the future we can unlock that with some coding

depends on the region. usa wasnt available at all was my understanding
Do you know if the id4 Pro S has area view?
It's not available with an US-Spec ID.4 atleast the options says so

I think if u want 360 cam in the us u have to get an Audi q4 e tron.
They prob did this to differentiate the more luxury Audi and less luxurious vw
New update with auto park will work with 360 cameras or we need new id cars with 2 side sensors
Will need the 2 new sensors. 360 cam is not enough

nope. [or perhaps not yet?, cameras are there]
Can you do camp mode like Tesla?
No utility mode like hyundai/kia. but you can run it endless if you keep the beltseat clicked and have some weight on the driver eat >10kg. thats the current "fix"/VW camp mode

Very disappointing, VW removed this feature from US variant. It has only backup camera and it sucks
understand the struggle, but vw set a great car for the pricepoint in usa. my spec would have been atleast 10k more expensive (ex. vat) and that would have put it on the same pricepoint as a tesla model Y LR back then. This is ofcourse before all the price hikes from tesla.

its a place people come and go letting their dogs out. in summertime its jampacked with bbq's
