After watching this, I feel more confident in the foundation I'm building on as an artist. I thought the industry only looks out for numbers, which has been discouraging granted I'm not only without a team and connections but also a full-time student. Numbers do matter I agree, but they take time to grow, especially on the independent part. While learning about music business and marketing, this video reminded me having a creative vision, a story, and a blueprint is not a waste. I'd like to thank you for making videos like these easily accessible. Currently, I'm doing kind of a self A&R- training myself to be the best performing artist I can be. No labels yet, but I trust my talent so we're staying ready for the big moments🤞🏾
