Many of these are traditional gaming services. I am curious to see if game streaming services like PlayStation Now can succeed where others have failed like the OnLive service. Thanks for watching =)
TechGumbo You’ve forgot BATTLE.NET from BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT.
TechGumbo I think that PLAYSTATION NOW is definitely an Good Choice and Legally alternative way to play PlayStation games on PC. The only problem I have with it is that you can’t download games through Sony’s Game streaming service.
I know I’m probably going to get lots of negative comments from the PC Gaming community for saying this. But I think that the Microsoft Store is WAY BETTER than Uplay and EA Origin by leaps and bounds. It’s also better than Microsoft’s first attempt at entering the PC Gaming Market. But the only problem with the Microsoft Store is that it’s definitely going to take months or even Years for the Microsoft Store to have the exact same Console/PC games as Steam.
Honestly OnLive was just too early for the streaming world
Nice, thanks, didn't skip two ads for my support to you, nice video, keep it up, and more videos to come!
11th alternative for PC Gamer : Piratebay 😎
Or skidrowgamereloaded(dot)com
That alternative should be if you don't have enough hardware to play at least minimum requirements or for trial purpose( since most likely there are no demos out there)
But if you do have minimum or even recommended specs, you should buy the game if available.
It sounds like you have the car or the motor but don't have the money to maintenance/keep the fuel so what's the point?
Yarr.
PC Techbot g2a
A GAMER 107 g2a is worse than piracy, from all sides except for g2a and the key seller.
Used Humble a lot in the past but it seems their "Bundles" have been less interesting lately. I once got every Total War game up to Rome 2 with tons of DLC for $15. And one thing about Steam that is hard to beat is the big sales they have.
I agree, there bundles used to be better.
Humble bundle was recently purchased by IGN. Either they are just getting ready to start off strong next year, or they are on a downfall. Let's hope for the first.
what sites do i go to if i want to play the old maddens? like madden 08
You forgot about Nuuvem, a brazilian store, which ends-up being cheaper if you pay in dollar due to exchange rates
Is there diffent benefits from steam games and physical pc disc games?
Was there an app called Kijiiji or something like that? I remember playing Gunz: The Duel and Drift City on it. Was so dope and hope to find it again
Ijji ! But it's gone 😭
I just don't like how slow steam downloads are. Maybe it's just my internet, but I'd almost prefer physical copys.
if we are talking about game library managers, then there is also Playnite and LaunchBox
Hello. Do you know of any media players that have playlist options for mp4 mp3 etc. That also have a key or pitch control to change the keys of th files?
Thanks
Barry
One of the best youtubers i have ever subscribed to with an instant click and after i watched the other videos. Keep up your great work mate & stay Amazing 😎
Nice video I have tons of games from many places and I learned a few news ones here
Is he on a mac book at the start ?
NVidia is doing the same thing as Uplay. It has some games on there from Uplay and Steam. It supposed to give a better experience but how if two softwares are running in the background.
great video...thanks for the info!!!
GOG, and Humble are awesome.
Origin (EA), and UPlay are awful.
Green Man gaming is also good
Dipendu ghosh not all
Iaint Tellin and what is wrong with origin, i understand how uplay is awful, but origin? naw fam
The services are OK, the people who own them on the other hand...
I don't mind origin I got a deal on origin access for $30 for a year instead of 60. And i could download and play most of there games in the catalog.
I admire what Microsoft has been doing. Since they technically own Rare, they've gotta make Rare replay available on PC.
God I hope. If they won't bring (at least some of) it to switch, they should at least bring it to PC
Is there anything free on these ? Or you to buy em
Where can i buy ps2 games ?
How do you pay for GOG and humble
what is drm?
Thats sad cause I use Skidrow.....
Sometimes Fitgirl.
you forgot to mention Piratebay lol
Customer service.. steam? I asked the moderation and discussed about it. Most people wanted an instant reply or reply less than 1 day because sometimes they're busy. It's kinda nonsense unless steam Willing to hire more staff. Then again the support ticket sometimes are not clear.
Lastly for DRM There's only 2 choice between GoG or Steam. Don't expect anything else.
You can buy game anywhere else as long it's legit like humble bundle, then play it on steam or gog. Simple as that.
M Dwi Kurnia L Bowi steam customer service has always been good to me, i mean, not like they spent a lot of time contacting me, but i dont expect that, they have a gigantous amount of customers. They always responded in 1-2 days, but usually 7/8 hours.
Pedro , Yeah i havent had any issues with Customer service but theres alot of unique issues that they had to handle. Sometimes the customer lacks information to access their problem which makes steam to reject their ticket and ask separate way to access their account. ex handling hacked account or forgotten password.
@Dipendu yes, every modern game now are sold digitallty, except older gen might not available digitallty.
No gamejolt?
Soon you will reach 500K then 1M subs channel you deserve it ✌🏽
Nice comment
I cant even make an account in steam because of captcha errors. Wasted my money in buying a digital game with steam code.
Where is G2A?
I purchased most of my Steam games there
EA and Ubisoft games are great to play, however as a game streaming services I'd pass them.
Having tested out PlayStation Now, it does have some bugs to work out, but was better than I expected.
so helpful, thanks
thanks great concise video
well thanks for showing the free games thingy xD
TechGumbo, I have planned to upgrade to Windows 10 through assistive technology free upgrade but it takes forever. This is the thing what I don't like with operating system upgrades.........😟😟😟😟😟😟😟
Operating system upgrades never go as smoothly as we would like.
I use super gamez downloader before but for a petty games, not the mainstream ones like those available in the video
I'm gonna be honest I really like Origin. I know I know "EA Bad" even though they have a limited selection on games. I vastly prefer the interface to steam and at least in my experience MUCH faster download speeds. Also Xbox for PC is a good alternative as well.
Anybody remembers command and conquer generals?
I used to play drift city on my PC
arent most of these just steam key resellers and not actual replacements for steam.
Some of them aren´t, such as GOG and Direct2Drive
I love your channel!
Do you know any free alternatives
Can you do top 5/10 best gaming pc??
It was released a couple months ago.
Fnatical games is also a good place to buy games
I'm a boon do you need the pc on to use steam link ty
Thank you
THANK YOU!! I forgot about Origin. I'm sick and tired of Steam and their BS customer service. It's nice to know that there are alternatives out there.
Origin is OK if you like EA games and they have good sales too. Steam has a lot better of a selection of games.
Dipendu ghosh some I think but not all
TechGumbo - You're right about the differences in choice. I've been in Steam for about 6 years now. The reason why I was so happy with Origin is I was waiting for Mirrors Edge 2 to come out and I had forgotten all about it for over a year and you reminded me. I have been playing it ever since I watched this video.
Dipendu ghosh don't think it's on there
Yeah, fuck Origin. Abut 2 months ago I bought The Sims 3, then Pets, then Seasons and lastly Supernatural, all on G2A. I updated Origin to download the new game Apex Legends. I also wanted to play some Sims 3 while waiting for the download to finish. But I noticed I only had the Supernaturals expansion and my save file would get overwritten if I continue. The expansions disappeared from my account, and the keys I used are already "used" except the games are gone.
didnt know about xbox n ps being on pc so thanks
You forgot tpb
What about friv
What About EPiC Games?
Whats that?
Garena?
I personally reccomend gamejolt if you are a indie gamer
Im 2 years late :l
Is there free games on gamejolt?
Free game on origin? Thanks insta sub
There are also 3 free on Ubisoft, including Assassin's Creed Black Flag.
Well, there was, not sure if it's still in effect today but it was yesterday or the day before.
gog = good old games :D
Their customer support is people that had the same problem but figured it out
GameBillet is good too
Kartridge please
all the games those alternatives offer u can get on steam, you can get assassin's creed origin or titanfall 2 through steam but you can't get assassins creed origin through origin or gog. prices are pretty much the same so at end of the day, it's still steam.
Steam is pretty much the 👑
well i was ok with steam till I got RDR2 I love the game but Rockstar made me not only hate rockstar but steam as well .
G2A is a pretty terrible website and how they get their keys at low prices are pretty sketchy.
Origin? Over my dead body.
Best channel ever
I never knew you could play ps4 games on pc lol
Your a pc gamer download steam, origin, and blizzard and go to kinguin.com or g2a.com to get your discounts on games.
You dont need to download uplay mostly becuase all there games are on steam allready and when u buy them on steam it will install uplay allready for you.
EA- battlefield,battlefront,fifa,ect.
steam- open playform anyone can post a game up “like pubg” the most played non finished game of all time
allso games like COD, rust, arma3, rainbow 6 siege, GTA5, ect.
blizzard - World of warcraft, overwatch, starcraft 2, ect.
Superior you still need to install Uplay to play their games even if you have steam
Forgot blizzard entertainment
be very careful of microsoft games in the microsoft store. most games like to crash. i bought two games forza horizon 3 and gear of wars, both crash constantly. till now, microsoft has no solution on this. this issue is widely known in the forum.
you missed G2A
Playstation Now is 👌
I used Steam and GOG mainly. But since PC has gone to digital only I have pretty much stopped gaming altogether on that platform except for a few titles I still have loaded on my PC. Only have titles on D2D because of my Gamefly PC games got transferred to that service. In my old age I have found digital content to be worthless, so have started only purchasing products that come in physical format when it comes to both gaming and movies. WHEN consoles go to digital only I'll just stop purchasing games altogether.
Spawn Cap at least PlayStation and Nintendo will likely stay physical based. In Japan, people like to Buy/sell/rent physical objects instead of downloading or streaming things, which is why Japan still has a healthy market of used and rental game, dvd, and manga. That’s why many Japanese games that are released are usually fully playable without requiring day 1 patches, cause most people don’t connect their consoles to the internet, and PC gaming is not as popular there. I don’t think Sony or Nintendo are willing to throw off their local homeland customers that easily.
1 steam 2 gog 3 itch-io
Xbox game pass can be bought on pc through Microsoft and has best free games than any other does
you are right but you don't own the game, you just rent it.
Steam isn't too bad. Origin is far worse.
How come TechGumbo don't have 1Million Sub's ?
lol! This channel just started this year. Maybe in a few years it will reach a million.
TechGumbo lol For sure 😄
I'm so sick of steam ..the last update broke a lot of features and games for me
Please make a video or recommend me 1 as natural as possible Text to speech software
PirateBay😎
I am here because i have forgotten my steam password😂
Where is Epic Games?? 🧐
oh noooo Microsoft store number one? I dont want nothing to do with Microsoft , sadly Im stuck with windows
You're wrong about PlayStation Now requiring the PS4 pad to play its games. Sure Sony REALLY wants you to use the PS4 pad and will promote it at every opportunity, but I've played on PSNow on my PC using a PS3 pad and it's worked perfectly. Even the PSNow homepage even says "Connect your DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller - or other compatible controller - to any USB port or go wireless with the official USB Wireless Adaptor and you're ready to play." under the Ready to Play? section. Other than that, good info vid. I also regularly use itch.io, indiedb.com and GameJolt for my indie game fun.
Uplay is why I don't play Ubisoft games
@NH808 it can be very intrusive
You forgot to mention the pirate bay although some of the new games aren't there yet
1. Epic
What about...
Pc
Games
Download
Tho? (100% Free) 👌💲💲
G2A BEST
Steam is a pain in the ***. I can't belive how many times I need to change my Password even though I've saved it from my past logins.
Steams the WORST!
Maybe the problem is with your PC? Never had that problem
Shit no Epic Games on the list
How safe and legal is Gamersgate?
Like psn
Steam is just so buggy now..
Not a fan of PlayStation now, it's not good compare to Microsoft store, with more titles.
you have not descride about epic games
Steam is trash I got banned because I violated the agreement. Which I did nothing of the sort. I just play games nothing else soo yea I’m looking for somthing like it but better customer service
Best

2-Humble
3-GOG
