The Ultra needs the TVS to launch that deep V hull and produce gobs of torque at lower rpm..now a lighter STX-R Carbon 350 with a 1.0L I4 Ninja engine and a water-cooled turbo would be next level. KHI can build anything they want...heck put a "powered by Ninja" badge on the front and carbon fairings and even at $20k I'd buy one..as long as it was also lime green 😂😂

If they went turbo, I would trade my FX for one. Instantly! Fuel consumption of the 310 was my only gripe with that ski.

There’s. Dealer in NJ fire selling 2023 Ultra 310 x for 12k. Look on pwc trader. My issue with our new 2024 ultra is the dealer network. Our local dealer has no knowledge of what they sell, plus the service dept doesn’t have a clue how to maintain the skis.

    A Spark-JetBlaster killer, a Ultra ninja 1000cc Turbo 160hp and 500lbs empty weight, Carbon Fiber-Innegra hull.

All they have to do is put a very nicely integrated 12” Garmin with NMEA engine performance data and they would sell every, single unit.

Kawasaki is still the best overall PWC. But they aren’t perfect and do some dumb things. They have abysmal showings, if any at boat shows. You’ll see Yamaha and Doo make mega booths, and even include their ATVs and boats, then have Kawasaki in a back corner with 1 or 2 models from a dealer who also sells boats, and doesn’t really care about Kawasaki. I’m convinced corporate doesn’t care, and really why should they when Kawasaki heavy industries is making locomotives and other industrial machines.
I’m certain, and I’m sure Kevin actually knows, that there is probably quite a few JetSki enthusiasts in the motorsports division. But until the higher ups pull their heads out of their asses and push some excitement back into the brand, this is what we will be stuck with.

Kawasaki need a jetblaster/spark sized ski. You can buy a good ski boat for less than there offerings. I'd like to see an ultra 150 sized ski with a Tr1 sized motor. It would be a winner

Did Kawasaki ever solve the piston issue? I had a 14 310lx that the piston failed. Lost an entire season. Also do you still have to fog it?

Kawi needs to fix all the QC issues they have after moving production to Mexico. On top of that, most people consider the Kawi supercharged model the highest cost to maintain if you don't maintain it yourself. Also, resale on the Kawi is the worst it seems.

    I have the 160lx ultra
I’m sorry but this ski feels so dated. The bars, to seat triangle is aweful. The handle bars are so skinny and the motor feels like a slow Volkswagen jetty. I want to love this ski but I hate it.
It only tops out at 52mph
I want to live my 160lx, wish I had better info when u made my purchase. And now my 2023 160lx with 30 hours on is only worth $8k
    If im lucky.

Never heard any review as harsh as yours. Sorry to hear. 160 is not the 310 but pretty stout out of the hole. I see 55 best case. Would prefer 57 or so for some reason. I really like my lxs. Even with seat all the way back you don't like it? Everyone that has ridden mine loves it. Has well over 100 mile range. Not perfect but no regrets on mine. I do HATE the fuel filter removal but I did an external from Kawi Performance.
