I just purchased my 4 first used jet skis this year. Wow, people they are so fun. They have really brought my family together to do something together that they actually love. I highly encourage anyone to get one or two or 4 😁
Nothing better than a day out on the water with your friends and family
The seat on my RXT-X is way more comfortable than my GP1800. But as Kevin said it’s 2 different theories on handling. GP handles on freakin rails especially when paired with Riva sponsons.
I have commented before on this here, but if you are older the narrower seats are better on your hips and more comfortable/ ergonomic. The high perf skis are amazingly fast and are fun either way. As a 2024 superjet owner , standups actually pretty comfortable since at least straight line you are neutral position.
Coming from a different perspective, the seat integrity is another consideration. I have 2 - 2024 fx SVHO's and both seats have come apart right at the seams with only 30+ hours on them. Yamaha is replacing them under warranty, but I think they need to do a better job of improving their stitching.
Link for the video you mentioned? Yes one oem produces a standup ski. And one oem only produces couches! They are two different companies and two different philosophy! Great work
i think he is bacwards i have a 2010 fzr and rxp .yamaha rides very flat.the sea doo seems to lean into corners..the yamaha has so much g force trying to push u off wile it stays flat..
Then you don't know how to ride the FZR. Drop your inside knee in the tray.
@@watercraftjournal thats how i do it but the fzr rides fllat .the rxp has a deeper hull it leans into turns .fzr hooks u so well its tough to hang on.. i ride both quite a bit..but my version of flat mite be different than others..the fzr as im pushing it into turns the fzr stays level.tge rxp seems to lean..if you ever come to oregon .you can come ride mine.tgat woukd be cool..both run even at 70 on flat..and corner hard..
