You're right about the "Busted Knuckles". I would sure like to have it sitting in my driveway. I really like how you've set it up to be a runner, one that you can drive all week, throw some water at it on Friday and go cruisin' on the weekends without having to spend most of your time with a polishing rag..

What material do you use to provide the rust look? I have a 1966 Rambler American Rouge that recently came back to me after 20 years. They shaved the handles and all the chrome, put a f.i. 350 with NOs In it with some Foose rims. At first I wanted to put it back to original, like I had it before. After searching for bits, I realized that may not be possible. After watching a few of your videos, I'm thinking rust rod. I would sure like to know what you are using. Jesus be with you,bro.

If you don't want you car to rust on you!!! First you must know why it rusts in the first place!!!
And that first place is!!! When the car or truck is made, they leave vacant air pockets in the metal behind the fender, and bumbers!!! ETC.!!! AND ETC.!!! WHAT I CALL AIR POCKETS ARE WHERE DIRT AND MUD CAN AND DOES GET IN THESE AIR POCKETS BUT CAN'T GET OUT!!! SO AS YOU ARE TRAVELING AROUND. SOMETIME DRY DIRT FLYS ONTO THESE AIR POCKETS. WHEN IT IS SNOWING , WHEN IT RAINING, WATER, SNOW, SALT FROM THE ROAD IN THE WINTER TIMES AND MUD GETS INTO THESE AIR POCKETS!!! WHICH EVENTUALLY FILL UP WITH THE DIRT!!! THEN AS YOUR CAR OR TRUCK IS GOING THROUGH THE CAR WASH!!! OR WHEN YOU ARE WASHING THE CAR YOURSELF! WHEN IT IS SNOWING, RAINING!!! IT KEEPS THIS DIRT, AND MUD DAMP MAYBE ALL YEAR ROUND AND THIS DAMP DIRT IS WHAT DOES THE RUSTING OF YOUR CAR OR TRUCKS BODY!!!
IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME!!! JUST FIND A CAR AT THE JUNK YARD THAT HAS RUST DAMAGE AND THEN TAKE A SCREW DRIVER AND POKE THROUGH THE RUST AND YOU WILL FIND THE DAMP DIRT AND MUD RIGHT AT THE RUST SPOT!
SO WHAT YOU MUST DO IS, GET UNDER YOUR CAR AND TAKE A HOSE AND SCRAPER AND CLEAN ALL OF THE DIRT AND MUD OUT OF THE AIR POCKETS SPOTS!!! And drill holes to where these air pockets can't hold water, OR DIRT AND MUD!!! AND THEN AFTER EVERY RAIN, SNOW!!! DO THIS EVERY SO OFTEN AND THE RUST WILL STOP!!! ONCE YOU DRILL HOLES SO THE WATER CAN'T STAND (POOL)!!! THEN ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS AFTER IT RAIN OR SNOWS!!! JUST TAKE A WATER HOSE WITH HIGH PRESSURE NOZZLE AND ADJUST IT TO GET AS MUCH HIGH PRESSURE AS YOU CAN!!! AND GET UNDER YOUR CAR AND FLUSH OUT THE DIRT AND MUD!!! SO THERE WILL BE NOTHING TO RUST YOUR FENDERS, ETC.!!! AND ETC.!!!
