- Breezy Knees Gardens is without doubt, in my opinion, one of the most extensive and well managed gardens in Yorkshire. Brilliantly laid out, extremely well maintained and with colour for all seasons.

You can access the gardens from the A64 7.5 miles East of York or from the North of the A166 Stamford Bridge road at a similar distance.
The gardens are open to the public daily Tuesday to Sunday plus bank holiday Mondays from May 1st until September 30th. Open 10:30am to 5:00pm.
Most of the pathways are wheelchair and mobility scooter friendly with the exception of the May Blossom Walk and some of the grassed areas. There is good access from the large car park to the cafe and garden entrance. There are good toilet facilities including disabled.
Homemade food and delicious cakes and scones are available at the Breezy Knees Garden Cafe along with hot and cold drinks.
Dogs are not allowed in the gardens (except assistance dogs) and neither are picnics.
Ensure plenty of time to see the whole area, say 4-5 hours. We saw about half of it in 3 hours.

What a tremendous garden. So much space, and well suited to more naturalized plantings. The "Stonehenge" is a fun treat as well. I like the pace you use, as well as the low-key music. Often we are blared at with Club music and made dizzy with fast turns while the camera zips past the good stuff. A leisurely walk around a garden is what we want, so thank you. :)

Just a stunning and peaceful place. The upkeep to this high standard must be immense work for those involved. Amazing colours and layout. No breezy knees for you on filming day Stephen, it looked like there was hardly a breath of wind. Another lovely video - well done that man!
