Can You Beat Fallout 3’s Broken Steel DLC Without Taking Any Damage? (in text form)
This DLC is different from all the other Fallout 3 and even New Vegas DLCs in the way that it’s accessed. There are no level requirements, but you can’t start it until you complete the main quest line. Normally I’d start in Vault 101, escape as quickly as possible, and head straight for the DLCs starting location. Can’t really do that this time and, children cover your ears, I’m sure as HECK not playing through all of Fallout 3 again just for this video. I reloaded a save from a prior playthrough, and because my Fallout 3 is so destroyed that I haven’t been able to press Load on the main menu without crashing the entire game since early last year, I just went with whatever the most recent save was. In this case, Player Name from that Fallout 3 New Vegas Same Time video. The build for that character was based around speed and being able to take a lot of damage, not really the best SPECIAL stats for a no damage run, but I worked with what required the least effort at that particular moment.
I had to content with Autumn again, settled things were settled diplomatically as I’d already set my max health to 1 so that any damage killed me, Sarah Lyons was sent into the Purifier on my behalf and died. I’d have done it but I had no way to heal radiation damage and the second the door was sealed with me on the bad side, I’d have collapsed. With Lyons finally dead, the Wasteland was saved, my mind pondered all the nothing, and I woke up back in the Citadel to none other than the father of the woman I just convinced to sacrifice herself for water, the most unappealing of all beverages. Elder Lyons explained what transpired while I was failing at being dead. The Enclave were beaten back a good bit more than expected thanks to Doctor Madison Lame being productive and contributing to society. Sarah Lyons is still dead. Whether she’s as dead or more dead than my dog is up for debate.
Long story short, the Enclave haven’t been defeated yet and it falls on me to maybe help if I feel like it. I decided to be a good Samaritan and help them to balance out all the bad things I’ve never done ever in my life. After figuring out where Scribe Rothschild was, wandering through the darkness, and acquiring some ammo from Durga, I spoke to Rothschild about our next move. The Enclave’s Main Headquarters was destroyed a few weeks back by someone who was playing two games at once. They’re running scared, but we have the upper hand. We have Democracy. We have… Liberty Prime.

the only reason NV implodes is due to it being trapped within a todd howard game engine. Gamebrio/Creation engine is so broken i bet 76 has a wall clip abusable during PVP.

I'm not familiar with the terminal in question but assuming the terminal is locked rather than it requiring a skill check after you open terminal, then you can just unlock it with the console. Fallout 3/Nv treat terminals just like locks. Just open the console click the terminal and type unlock. Bam, your in. Unless I'm miss remembering that is, been a while since I played 3 or Nv. :/

1st of the Germans most definitely did use gas warfare in ww1 every side did at varying levels in ww2 the practice was used much less (except for gas chambers which was more execution then warfare) but it was still around
2. You can't take one incident from soliders on one warfront as a statement on how "fair" a war was Germany just like in ww2 was curb stomping the allies until they lost steam and started making plays that seem idiotic in hindsight

Would Fallout 4's automatron be doable without any damage? Considering the fact that the last quest implies being in a small room with waves of enemies.
A Random CL4P-TP you can skip that last room by collecting some holotapes and using them in a terminal at the beginning, but this method only skips the last room, not everything else
Or have high perception and agility and use vats on all of them before they kill you.

When you are playing broken steel (i have speedran fallout 3 a few times) you want to put your points into perception, endurance and strength. You will be picking up extra power armour to repair on the go, vats is your best friend and endurance is self explanitory

My regular playthrough felt like this challenge, I was in the mid level 20s and had br9therhood of steel power armor but because I only had one set of it it broke really quickly and I had barely any damage resistance, the enemies were tanking so many tesla coil shots, and every single damn enemy (especially the hellfire soldiers) had aimbot, I'd peek around corners and not even have a millisecond to line up a shot
My main issue was inside the presidential metro - I wound up with the invincible reavers bug. Not fun, and aparently quite common.
Imagine if, when you picked Megaton, the payload malfunctioned and only fired one projectile, which hits and destroys Moira's store and nothing else.
So many challenge runners put a lot of time and thought into the strategies that will help them achieve their goals. It's almost refreshing to see someone like Mitten who puts literally no thought or preparation into his runs and just goes "F**k it. God Mode."

One of the main things that the New Vegas Fan Brigade always overlooks is that none of the DLCs to it ever did anything to expand the game past the 2nd Battle of Hoover Dam, even though Lonesome Road makes very little sense for taking place "before" it in the way you'd have to play through the added content prior to playing the last quest if you want to get the items and such from each one. Always stuck as a weird design choice, likely down to anyone still around from the Interplay / Black Isle days being petty and just wanting to make the game fully end at the last story quest like F1 and 2 did.
