  • This video will show few tips on how Ah Pa made my best braised pork belly ever. The cameralisation process is definitely very important here and the reducing process.
    Berkcious pork is 100% free from harmful chemicals. Berkcious pork does not contain any beta agonists, growth hormones, or antibiotics. The pigs are raised naturally in an humane manner.
    Berkshire Black pork is a breed imported in from UK. Black pork has a greater marbling content like wagyu. The meat is more tender and fragrant.

    Tips To Make The Best Braised Pork Belly Ever
    Ingredients:
    350g of Berkcious premium black pork belly
    4 hard boiled eggs
    1 bay leave
    1 cinnamon stick
    2 star anise
    Some rock sugar
    Few slices of ginger
    Few stalks of green union, use white portion only
    Seasoning:
    1 round of light soya sauce
    A little bit of dark soya sauce
    A small bowl of Shaoxing cooking wine
    Enough amount of hot water
    Pinch of salt
    Pinch of sugar

    Uncle Pa....is the a way to feel the eggs without breaking the egg? I find it so hard to peel without damaging the surface of the skin. You seemed to have done good job with them?

      After it’s cooked, put the egg in cool water for few minutes before u peel. Then try to peel in the water. All these helps.

      For me, pork belly blanching is optional, yes, u can use 5 spice powder

      The sugar crystallised after there’s sudden change in the temperature in the wok when u added in the pork, sometimes it happened to me too.

    Ah pa, you stirred n scraped the bottom of your wok so many times, won't your wok get scratches on your non stick wok, may l know what brand is your wok?

      May l know the brand of your wok because l couldn't get the right non stick wok. They peeled or can stick after few uses or get lot of scratches even though l use wooden spatula.
      I like your video n always try yr recipes, they always turn out delicious

    Ahpa, trynot use steel spoon on non-stick cooking pan please😭😭it will scratch the outer layer protection and caused it enter to your food which bad for your health ya🙏🙏

      Erm... I'm sorry, ahpa is NOT even hard scratching/scraping the wok. If the protective coating is so easily scrap off, wooden utensils could also do the job.
