I don’t have the ASMR response, but I’m all about ASMR videos and content. YOU are reading Poe and my day is better.
You do have it, you just haven't found the right material. Everyone can be mildly hypnotized by the right sounds, and that's all ASMR is. I used to get that effect listening to certain male teachers in school, decades before the term "ASMR" was invented. And if I'm in bed and I hear it start to rain outside, you can expect me to wake up again in a week or so.
