  • Sydney Day 25: Breakfast with the Lads, Meet Bradley Michael, Syrian Festive Dinner, Five Guys Brgr
    .
سيدني ، يوم 25: فطور مع الأولاد ، لقاء مع برادلي مايكل ، عشاء احتفالي سوري ، فايف جايز برغر
    .
Day 25 in Sydney starts at Bleu, a bakery on another level, the bread loaf is fresh, moist, and well-fermented. The sandwich is crusty from the outside, with premium quality of Parma ham.
Salam from Knefeh Factory always enjoyed cooking but never thought that would be her career, her first business was a café and now she bakes knefeh French toast with a twist, she also has ready-made knefeh available in supermarkets
Then I had the honor of interviewing Antoine Azzi, editor-in-chief of the El Telegraph newspaper.
Another Lebanese success story, is Bradley Michael one of the very well-known restaurateurs in Australia, owner of Seagrass Boutique Hospitality Group which has more than 5 concepts and 1 franchise “Five Guys”.
I visited Armani restaurant for a Syrian festive dinner, the restaurant is known for big catering, mansaf, shawarma, and much more. I really enjoyed the meat which is very tender, juicy, fatty, and done right.
Next, I tried Brooklyns’s, a pizza and pasta bar, the owners worked on the dough for 3 months perfecting the weight, the temperature, the sauce, and never changed the recipe for the past 14 years.
For the first time in Australia, I visited Five Guys and had the chance to tour the very tidy and neat kitchen, and its burger remains my favorite.

It's interesting to see all these Lebanese people owning big companies yet their prices are through the roof. Only the rich can afford their food or people who get paid good money. I think this is more of an advertising rather than pride. Everytime I see a Lebanese business person in Sydney all I see is more of this $$$$$$$ and less of this ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. I have a feeling they just getting this opportunuity to advertise for their own benefits through you because people love you. They will never admit it but sadly many Lebanese in Sydney are materialistic and not genuine. They don't care about anything but this $$$$$$.
Also Anthony I recommend you start meeting Lebanese people who are not successful through money but successful through other things. Meet normal Lebanese people in their home like you did when you first started in 2012. Meet people inside their house taste their food and decrease your exposure to businesses and people with money who I see they never help anyone at all not even help people in need In Australia. There is so much commercial and less love In this Australian trip and it does not look so so genuine at all. All I see is this $$$$$ and people can't afford what they can afford. And believe me not all did through hardwork.

I wouldn’t be so quick to judge. Alot of the businesses visited have talked about how they desire to give back to Lebanon & many of them are getting behind the Made By Nature / NGNO mission which is all about empowering small family owned Lebanese business in the villages so they can get their products to market.

@tmb5066 yeah I have nothing against those at all and they are indeed genuine. I'm talking about others not the small businesses.
