Great entertainment Brian! I especially enjoy your commentary and your apologetic bedside manner with the fish. Hope you are able to give us a high-tide installment! Safe paddle fishing!

Great video - love the variety of fish. Your Cape Falcon canoe does well for the mangroves. At @3:00 - buy yourself a small tackle box and protect that $15 Rapala (ouch) and your other lures.

Have you tried any buzzbombs out there Brian?

I’ve always had terrible luck on buzzbombs so I didn’t even think to try them.

Thank you for a great series
Hopefully you noticed that the Halibut was dead when you released it.
Large fish just won’t survive in that non oxygenated bucket for longer than a few minutes…
Noble intention but poor outcome for that fish 😅
    Cheers

Holy smokes, you’re right! That sucks! I learned early all night I needed to change the water every half hour otherwise the fish would die, I’ve been pretty diligent about it, so I’m not sure what happened there. Poor guy. Working on plans live well that will connect to the drive box in my head right now. Weirdly a handful of sardines will use all the oxygen in 10 minutes. Learned that the hard way last week.

@@capefalconkayak free meal to all the scavengers down there
Just a small manipulation of the food chain, no biggie 😃

Super cool! Loving these fishing videos. Two fish on one lure! Reminds me of when I checked my trotline on pigeon creek, Butler county Alabama. My crawfish bait was eaten by an eel. Then, a flathead catfish ate the eel, which swam right out his gills, so the flathead was not even hooked, but just had the trotline leader ran through his mouth, out his gills. I ate the eel and the flathead, which were both caught off the one hook.
So good to see you having fun. Your videos are like therapy for me.

I've seen 2 fish on one line but never two on one lure.
