Well, being the wilful serf of two toms, I have to say that this is just common pet SOP: you provide them with the most comfy furniture you could imagine and afford, but they'll always prefer a simple banana crate or the cardboard box which your latest purchase was delivered in.
I don't know why, but that's kinda natural law (at least when it comes to cats - my knowledge about dogs is a wee bit spotty and I'm not entirely sure if that law really does apply to pets like fishes or amphibians).

Maybe you could keep the whole hat in tact, then just have the clear visor magnettically attatched under the brim flip down? So you have a double brim until you flip the visor?

Yeah. Just to emphasize. That could be a very normal looking ball cap with a face shield tucked underneath. While youâre at it - could also be a plastic lined bump cap or whatever they are called, that looks exactly like a ball cap but with a hard-hat-like liner.

I love the phrase "batman on a budget". Aside from the alliteration it's also almost a contradiction in itself, because one might say that batman's budget may be one of his defining factors.
It's definitely a point that the JLA movie got right; Flash asked him what his power was, he said, "I'm rich".
Arguably his only defining factor. I know thereâll be fanboys out there going âheâs super smart and a great detectiveâ etc. But really most of what he does comes down to his vast wealth. Even a dumb, physically out of shape guy with enough unlimited resources could become Batman.

From someone that managed to get metal shards impaled into their retina and then had to have it drilled out with what looked like a Dremel tool with a burr bit attachment, wear your damned safety glasses people!

I really appreciate seeing a holesaw with the missing 1/4" center bit. I'm always ashamed when I "borrow" from my hole saw mandrels, because WHERE THE HELL ARE ALL MY 1/4" BITS, so this was very validating.
I really appreciate showing off a build that didn't go to massive success- you do a lot of cool builds, and a lot of people have that potential... But at least I'm one who always feels squashed by an idea just not panning out. Remembering that it's just part of trying things is super friggin' important

It's probably not to convince people to USE Google because evidently they already do, but if they would put this exact information in an ad people would probably ignore it, they're more likely to listen to it if the information is provided by a creator they like
It's something they use as a measure of goodwill to CZcamsrs that are really beneficial to the platform or who have fans at Google HQ. It's like inviting your contractor to dinner
With so many people using adblockers, the only way they see ads is if they are actually built into the creator's video. Also, people generally like the creators they choose to watch, unlike google, so they gain favor supporting who the people like.

Having had a metal shard stuck in my eyeball for a couple weeks at one point, I can tell you I much prefer not having metal in my eyeball. I also wish I'd never tried it.
That sounds horrible- I hope there were no permanent damage. Was it superficial or was it necessary to have the shard removed?
But now you can recommend against it from such a position of authority.

@@brianhaygood183 I got a job once because it was made available after a guy rejected job safety standards and splattered hot soldering flux in one eye. Then after coming back from healing, did it to the other eye.
They let him go, and I wore the goggles no matter how uncomfortable they got.
@@sebastianwlodarczyk It was a piece of wire from a stainless wire wheel on a bench grinder. Hurt like heck, but was essentially a splinter, but dead center in my left eye. It was a few days before I was sure it was still in there vs just irritated, so two weeks all told before I got it removed, which didn't really matter a lot; just hurt. Just took him some tweezers under magnification to get it out. So, it left a scar that has since turned me Right eye dominant. Hard to shoot that way, so I now have to shoot Right handed, which torpedoed any hope of competitive shooting, which I was kind of working my way toward. I need reading glasses for basically anything, since I have half the resolution, effectively. No problem with longer range stuff like driving. So, yeah, wear eye protection.
Every video of yours is such a satisfying and delightful experience... I had such a shitty week , now I feel much much better..

I think it's pretty cool that you uploaded the video even tho the project didn't work out.
It shows that not all of your projects are amazing beds, puzzle tables or pickup trucks, sometimes you just mess around with a cool Idea and see if it works out at all. And that is dope not everything has to work, and it is nice to see that this also applies to the great ones too.

its just always good to see you uploaded a video making things. having creative, ludicrous solutions to problems and problem solving your way through them. even if the hat wasn't great, it was still super interesting to me.
also thoughts on improving the hat: I feel like having the holes for the eyes and nose loose the functionality of the hat in hat-form. It can't block the sun anymore. What about a regular hat brim with a drop down mask underneath? The hat could still function as a hat and that would solve the forehead awkwardness too. It would complicate the hinges possibly but worth a shot!
