I was diagnosed this year with OTO and all the info was just super overwhelming and admitting I had hearing loss at 32 was super embarassing, so you're not alone in that.
I get my BAHA installed on DEC 14th, so here's to hoping it works. 🤞

Hi april i have been where u have been 40yrs ago,i would not wear my hearing aids! I was similar age to you so thought only old people wore them! But a couple of weeks ago my audiologist said i only had residual hearing left to work with & it was decided to refer me for a cochlear implant,i have an assessment on the 30th November in london,i just wished the old me had worn my hearing aids sooner,during covid and home alone i left my hearing aids out,and even now being so deaf i think is it worth wearing them,but my audiologist gave me a talking too,she said i must keep them in from when i get up until i go to bed so my brain keeps hearing some sounds & it will help if i get a CI,here in the uk we only get one CI for free if u are over 18,so i will still have to wear a hearing aid in one ear,i even got fancy earmoulds,pink with gold glitter! So no matter what part of the world you live in your still as deaf & need hearing aids! Dont let stigma & vanity stop you from hearing as much as you can as a silent world is not much fun,i have followed you for a while on Instagram & love your passion for hearing aids 💖💖🌈🌈
Does your dryer not shut off automatically when it is finished? The dryer for my CI processor has a 1.5 hour setting and a 3 hour cycle. I put the processor in the box every night and go to bed and forget it. It's ready for me the next morning.
Yes, my dryer turns off after about 3 hours.
