    So if you can't pay rent (external) that'll have no effect on your "internal" emotions?

      The external stressors like financial difficulties can undoubtedly have a significant impact on your internal emotional state. Struggling to pay rent can create a sense of insecurity, anxiety, and even despair, which can exacerbate existing mental health challenges like depression. Your external circumstances can deeply influence your internal well-being, often intertwining in complex ways. While addressing external stressors can alleviate some emotional burden, it's essential to also prioritize self-care and seek support to manage the internal effects these stressors may have on your mental health.
