      I guess the possessed slave girl didn't need Paul then. I guess the cities didn't need Philip to go to them and heal and cast out demons either.
      Jesus IS enough...but he asks have us gifts that he apportioned to work through mere men, flaws and all.
      I'm not saying the demon slayers are doing very right, but at least they are putting into practice what the bible teaches is still for today.
      If casting out of demons was done by mere men through God after the death and resurrection of Jesus, then it's still for now too.

      The divination girl, was she Saved? My understanding is she was not. All I am doing is testifying of the Power of the Lord Jesus Christ who set me free Soverignly. Instead of chasing after ministries, I chase the Lord, seek Him with my whole heart, spend time with Him in the secret place everyday and in His Word. I am set free, filled with peace and trusting in Him and Him alone. Not sure why any Christian would have an issue with that. Anyway, bless you in the name of the Lord, and may He set you free. . There will always be counterfeits. From the secular to the spiritual. There are counterfeit preachers, pastors in churches.. It is to our wellbeing that we know the difference. Corey has shown us clearly fraudulent ministries. With all respect I disagree with the "All" word. It's no way to say all deliverance ministries today are fraudulent. The U.S. consists of 330 million people, it is not right to say all ministries. The reality is we are limited to a certain radius of people. Just Becx you haven't seen something doesn't make it untrue.. I only disagree with Corey on the "All". The power of Jesus always has and always will be his. Yet he can work thru anyone whhen he chooses to facilitate his healing power and deliverance. If these so called demon busters really came face to face with a demon, all this play acting would cease. There are true demons and demonic power. It is Jesus and the Word of God that brings Deliverance. It never has been or will ever be based on man. Faith in Jesus and the finished work of the Cross brings true Deliverance. God is working in other places than the U.S. We can recognize the fraud and expose them as Corey said . " let us not throw out the baby with the bath water".Jesus is Lord". Have a day that is filled with the peace and love of God.

I mean we literally not only see miracles in old and new Testament but Jesus says u will do greater in my name . It also says that the deciples went out doing Many things and Jesus was there after he had already went up into heaven. Not to mention that Jesus directly gave authority to his deciples . One may make the argument that he only gave it to the 12 but then the deciples that preceeded them like pual or James.

      @komlat253 Před 8 měsíci

      This may be a silly semantic game or whatever idk. But Jesus does everything through the church . How is casting out demons any different than healing ? Deliverance ministries always deal in both. Sorry to me ,either both are true or both are wrong but if u belive that stuff like cancer and homosexuality can be healed then u must belive in the power of prayer . Things don't happen instantly, Jesus told us to pray and when his deciples fell asleep he said ,can't u pray for one hour ?sorry we are weak flesh and it is nothing against God s power .just like Daniel who prayed for 21 days and God had already answered. We need to and can pray for anything and if it take times it doesn't mean your faith is weak nor Jesus isn't enough. Moses prayed and waited on the mountain for 6 days then God showed up . To say that God has to do anything immediately for everyone all the time just isn't biblical

    Ultimately, what drives these 'deliverance' ministeries is a love of power & money. The charlatans who run these things portray themselves as mediators who makes what Jesus did on the Cross as incomplete without their intervention. They need people to depend on them for what they are selling when in fact a person can get what 'deliverance' they need direct from a real relationship with Jesus Christ Himself. Rather than teach people Truth & proper doctrine they teach lies that ultimately lead people away from Christ.

      Hi. My husband used to struggle badly with lust. He told me that he fasted and prayed against a lustful spirit. But, at times, it can be our flesh. It’s really important to understand that you won’t be held accountable for the feeling. What matters if you do the sin. Don’t over think it to much. Just because you feel lost doesn’t mean you committed the sin of lust. You can try practicing resistance and resisting. Over time, it can get better.

      @@Camille2337 Hi sister in Christ. That is correct. I was informing him that it’s not a sin to “feel” lust. We have a flesh. It lets us know in scripture that when a man is tempted, he is tempted by his own desires in James 1:14 “14 But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire.” I agree with what you said. Yes lust is definitely a sim. But feeling it is not. When you are tempted, you begin to feel a certain feeling. But feeling it isn’t a sin. Doing it, or entertaining it is a sin. In James 1:15 it says “Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.” The only way for desire to conceive is when someone has participated (or has done) the sin. That’s all I was trying to point out.

      @@wesleygordon1645 sorry ether one has a simple life or one has a simple understanding of the bible ..becoming Christian doesn't make one's situation or body immediately change . U don't see this in the Bible at all. Pual literally talks about the thorn in his side that God never took away from him Paul says himself although he prayed. We Americans are spoiled by western Christianity. Paul says we must suffer many things then enter Into the kingdom. Life if good but this feel must endure the pain in life that is stained by sin .temptation isn't leaving and and sin is still with us so that God can show his mercy . Speaking as if we are perfect or even immediately delivered when we accept Jesus makes grace cheap and frankly useless grace is here because we are currently falling short. We are saved and have the promise of salvation at the same time .u don't have to win every battle or e perfect to get to heaven. U simply need the seal as Pual puts it.. God may change nothing in your life and u may die a horrible and slow and lonely death . U may have nothing but sin around u overcome completely but if you put your faith in God then he will be there . God did not promise u an easy life without sin In this life ,he promised something better as shown when he touched the thigh of Jacob and was changed . He received the promise of a later work .as long as this body is of the same flesh and bones and having the ability to sin then we have not gotten the final promise and body as Ezekiel talks of . We simply have the seal that we will soon inherent. So all this judgment of sin and immediately being delivered is silly because this flesh must die 1st spiritually and physically before we all inherent the promise

      @@komlat253thats like saying alcoholic that accept Christ. You're implying a sinner cannot accept Christ, but that's everyone. I stopped drinking after accepting Christ, but not immediately it was a process. U still sin because its a process. Some gays take longer to stop because its a sin they struggle with. I didn't stop lusting immediately either. God heals on his time by our faith in him.

    • @komlat253
      @komlat253 Před 7 měsíci

      @@itsgeodoodz wait . Then we agree. I don't think everyone gets a miracle healing . It' goes against the very definition of a miracle ..they are rare and few and are there so that God can be glorified just as Jesus said when he healed the blind man . Not everyone coming into christ is going to have an immediate 180 or even necessarily at all in the flesh . All sins separate us from God. Only man says that God must take this or that sin 1st because it's so important. This is only our perspective of sin . U think that u are saved because God saved u from drinking but maybe u stumble in another part of the law which is minor , God never convicts u nor forces u to stop .what now? Are u not saved because u still have sin ,or maybe u are saying that this one isn't as important? It's silly to assume that God must take this one before that one because it's more important in your mind. Because there will always be a sin in your life that the flesh will inevitably lose to or struggle with . We are called to endure, and although we are expected to be perfect, there is no way we can . Hence grace .so there is no point of all this judging, there is sin u likely haven't given up yet and the ones u are aware of are likely culturally enforced rather than God saying anything likely. Some sin stop immediately, some take time and others will simply stay . The flesh is has not been changed as has seen the fulfillment of Jacob in which he walked with a limp when he was touch by the angle of the lord . Your soul has changed and now bares witness with the holy spirit but the soul in the body will still fight with the flesh until the flesh dies and is brought back as Jesus showed Thomas... so all this judgements of sin is useless because none of us have kept the law even after Christ set us free. The holy spirit is our seal .this is the only promise given now ,the promise of. Healed and profected body before the 1st death isn't in the Bible because God isn't perfecting anyone before the judgement. As Paul said " it's apointed for every man to die once and then comes the judgement" if u want to be free from the temptation of lust and beer or gambling and any other do' s or do not's then u literally die 1st and then be raised in a body that can't be tempted by the devil..God may have taken 0 or 2 away but he hasn't and likely won't take all before u died

    I was part of a DM in a church; it's a ministry of healing. Not everything is demonic; most are psychological or emotional, and a few are medical. You have to know the difference, and that requires discernment. A woman believed she was possessed or oppressed; it was revealed that during college she received three abortions prompted by her mother. This was not disclosed by her but revealed during prayer. We used a holistic model supported by scripture for deliverance and healing. Isaiah 53:4, Matthew 8:1-17.

    I think what people often don’t understand is that “debate” is a particular skill set that not everyone has. Not all great public speakers are great at public debate. Mike Winger who is a solid Bible teacher has openly admitted (after his debate with Matt Dillahunty) that debate is not necessarily his strong suit.
    Having said that, I don’t necessarily fault anyone for not accepting public debates against individuals or groups they have publicly called out. The only times I would fault them is if the entire focus of their platform or ministry was centered around incessantly criticizing an individual and/or movement or if they actively engage in debate with seemingly everyone else BUT the one they declined to debate.
    Like how Richard Dawkins seemed willing to debate every other Christian but William Lane Craig.

A Christian can verbally renounce something and be set free. Ultimately, we can walk through the process ourselves, but since not being taught how to do that and many churches openly accepting sinful behavior, many do not know this is possible. And just the act of forgiveness is huge. Scripture is very clear we hinder God moving in our lives when we have unforgiveness. That being said, if we haven’t seen anyone who definitively had any of these spiritual gifts since the apostles, and scripture tells us that in the end times, the antichrist and false prophets would do miracles and signs, (that’s correct isn’t it?) isn’t believing people can still have these gifts opening the door to believing in imposters? Is there any reason man wouldn’t have these gifts for such a long time only to regain them? Is there any scripture that says men will in fact receive these gifts again? We know that a sinful lifestyle, a lack of prayer and fellowship with the Lord is a recipe for disaster. A prayer for deliverance for the brethren may be necessary.

    Ruslan usually keeps an even keel and holds it together nicely… but he definitely got petty and emotional with this one😂. He musta fell for these demon slayers’ non-sense, no other reason he would ever got this emotional. The entire “Demon Slayer” crew have that the lack of a “seatbelt” that Ruslan usually says he has when he says “I’m a Charismatic with a seatbelt”.

    Jesus gave his twelve disciples power to cast out demons and to heal and sent them out. Why wouldn't he do the same today when there is still a need for it? Even believers can open the door for demons to get a foothold and even a stronghold.

      Amen, good answer, when a person get Deliverance, they received Christ as the Lord and savior, they receive eternal life, Jesus and the disciple hed Deliverance ministries, spirits don't die, question where did they go, spirits can have influence over non-Christians and Christians, even with scriptures we need to stop putting God in a box, man don't have the power to cast out demons or spirits, only God has that power, but he can use whoever he pleased to use, some the Deliverance ministries is fake. Just look at what Jesus did throughout the New testament, let's stay with scripture, be blessed my brothers and sisters.

    I haven’t seen Ruslan’s full video that Corey is reviewing, but just judging from the clips here, Ruslan is making a category error. He’s conflating continuationism with deliverance ministries. Many continuatiionists reject deliverance ministries while believing in the continuity of the gifts. This is more in the realm of asking if Christian’s can be demon possessed and if certain ppl within the church have the power to cast them out. The continuationism idea is more peripheral. How do you think these men would respond to a debate with a continuationst who rejects their deliverance ministry? There’s just simply no biblical basis for this idea of deliverance as they portray it.

    Jesus himself gave his disciples and the church the power to cast out demons in his name. He said casting out demons is a sign that follows those that believes. What is the debate? Those that believe the gifts have ceased are in error and are misinterpreting the Bible. False teachers and false prophets can come out of any denomination, Evangelicals, Charismatics etc. I also think the idea of going out to the bad part of town to see if someone can actually cast out demons is a foolish concept because we cannot cast out the flesh and a lot of crime is a fleshly act of the will. Jesus cast out demons and gave us the power to do it also. Fraud can happen in any area of the ministry if you have false teachers and wolves in sheep's clothing. The old saying don't throw the baby out with the bath water applies here. I have been involved with deliverance ministries and have seen people set free. I have also watched some who practice deliverance become a little too legalistic. And there is more than one way to be blind other than physically. And I do know of people who practice deliverance that are not frauds. Not all of them are on CZcams. Be careful who you call frauds. What else are they teaching and what is their doctrine outside of the deliverance ministry. Pagani has some strange doctrines about the Holy Spirit and Jesus. He lost me due to this not because he believes in deliverance. By the way Phillip was not an apostle and he cast out demons in the book of Acts and of course Paul did also. And Jesus said the power to cast out demons was given to those who believe. This hierarchy teaching is not scriptural. He poured out his Spirit on all flesh not just the Hierarchy. When the disciples saw some people casting out demons in Jesus' name, they told them to stop but Jesus told his disciples not to stop them for those that were not against him were for him. We are told to put on the whole armor of God because our battle is not against flesh and blood but demon powers. Deliverance is one of the ways we engage in wrestling with the powers of darkness. Spiritual warfare is real, and the devil has an agenda. I hate it when people just ignore the scripture for their own agendas. I think you are wrong in this video and the subject of casting our demons is all over the New Testament.

    On the whole I think Justin Peter's teaching is in line with the Word of God. I also think he honestly believes the gifts have ceased. However, as someone who has experienced the supernatural healing power of God, I have 2 problems with the cessationist view. Firstly, where and when did the gifts cease? In what year or century did they cease? As stated in the video, there is no scripture to support the cessationist claim. Jesus did however say "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father". Some may say he was speaking to the apostles only however the passage specifically says "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also". So that includes me, Justin Peters, John Macarthur, and in fact all believers. I personally believe that as God pours out his spirit in these last days, healings and other miracles performed through Christians will increase. In fact I believe it will occur to such a degree that as with the early church, due to the witness of it, there will be a huge increase in the number of people saved as a result. Secondly, Justin uses examples such as one where a person who has one leg slightly shorter than another (supposedly its quite common) has it stretched out miraculously as someone prays over them while holding the persons feet in his hands. He speeds up the video which he claims to show the person praying is manipulating one of the person's feet in particular so the toe is pointing up more at the end creating the illusion of the leg length then matching the other leg. It certainly does look that way too in the video, and I have no doubt there are people that can create this illusion. However, I too suffer from this condition, and back in 1986 I had a well known minister from the US visit my church in Australia, and he had me sit down with my feet rested on a chair. As he prayed with his hands hardly touching my legs, my leg began to move and stretch out. I could feel the bones and joints moving on their own as if someone was pulling on it, though the movement occured like it was being manipulated from within my leg. So I know the gifts haven't ceased. Nothing anyone can say will ever convince me that what I experienced was anything short of supernatural. I suspect in Justin Peters case, he may have a problem with the gifts since he suffers from cerebral palsy of which he has not been cured. He may feel some inadequacy in not being healed as a minister and so to be able to put that down to cessation of the gifts excuses him from finger pointing and people thereby doubting his ministry. I don't know. That's between him and God. But I can testify to the fact that God exercises his healing power through prayer with the laying on of hands. If he did it in 1986 then he does it now. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines" (Hebrews 13:8-16). The Pharisee's denied the power of the Holy Spirit as well, which attracted a sharp rebuke from our Lord Jesus Christ.

      @@LRuth-vl9sy - I agree, but this video is not about guidance or correction because correction, or the attempt to correct/guide came long ago. These individuals have rooted themselves in this false theology. So, I would say that a debate is pointless because their mind is made up. Moving forward exposure with accurate teaching is the only course moving forward - until/if they decide to do/desire something different.
