Thanks for watching and commenting. Just the seat. Got the bike from GO AZ Peoria AZ. They use to have a great sales guy, Mitch, who owned two Royal Enfields. They have changed a lot since covid. CSA did a great job on my 12,000-mile service and later rebalanced my wheels after someone else did a bad job installing new tires. When someone does good work I like to stick with them no matter where I am. Ft Collins CO, El Paso TX, San Antonio TX, and Tulsa OK are also dealers that have done good work for me.

I got to test tide a Triumph Bonneville T120 and a Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 back to back and hands down the INT650 was the winner. And after 19,000 it was still the right decision. Be glad to answer any questions.
Hey thanks for the tip on Toucan Jim's. I went there tonight and had a great time. My favorite island is St Martin's so that's the table I sat at. Great atmosphere and island music. I hung out there for 3 hours taking it all in. Thank you.

Great looking bike all right.Did you see the new R.E Premium Touring Seat with parallel lines & white piping at rear of seat.It looks beefier but in my opinion doesn't look as good but a comfy arse is a comfy arse.My mate got one but went from a stock to a Gt touring seat then Premium Touring Seat.HE loves it compared to slippery touring Gt seat but he never owned a Int Touring Seat so couldn't compare. Also Sahara Seats in India do seats & custom built seats with a choice of gel pad thickness or foam thickness.They also do seat covers that have gel pads to add extra comfort too & good quality.A seat cover with gel pad might be worth a look for extra layer of comfort too f you think you need it,Sahara Seats.
The trouble is that you can't tell if a seat will be better until you've done say 400/500km in a day. I've got the new Interceptor touring seat with white piping and parallel stitching lines (looks far better in my opinion) however so far the conditions here have only let me do about 200km in one go, and I can't honestly say it's any better than the original.. in fact it's worse in the fact that it's slightly higher than before. What's the answer.. anyone?
@@clausentumsoton Thank you for watching & commenting. Maybe find a shop that will open it up, strip out the original foam and install several layers of different density foam to the same shape and put the same cover back on.
@@clausentumsoton I live in NZ so 200km is a decent ride & on a R.E 650 should be looking for a petrol station at 190-210km anyway cause really don't want to go to low with petrol in tank.Always want to leave at least 3.5-4Liters in tank to stop contaminants getting into fuel pump.
@@clausentumsoton Sahara Seats in India do good seats but bulky but comfy.They do a base seat then if you want you can add 6mm or 12mm gel pad or foam. I use a Trip Machine seat which is better than stock & is lower than stock.Made from suede so grippy more sliding around.
Interesting. When your butt talks to you, you buy a motorcycle seat. When my butt talks to me, I open a window. That seat is super easy to swap out. Goodness me. Almost reason enough to go out and buy an Interceptor. Trust me, I would if I could 🙂 An excellent wrenching video there MAMRE, even if there wasn’t too much wrenching involved really. For the really hardcore wrenching people have to visit the EconomicalRides channel, obviously.
