Another addition to the _"even for a final boss, this did NOT have to go this hard"_ list.
But hey, it’s Kirby, HAL would make intense music for a level selection..oh wait, Isolated Isles
Were you talking about the boss or the music? I'd say that sentence applies to both.
Add it to the list with Roche limit, dirty and beauty, and masked dedede.
If you haven't already, I would go and check out The Noble Demon's arrangement of this song.

YOU COULDN'T JUST DOWNLOAD A WHOLE SHIP!
With Kirby anything is possible
Kirby: *Watch me*
you wouldn't download a ship
If star dream can download a soul, then kirby can download a flying battleship
You wouldnt download a nova
Man, what an epic, dynamic tune. Star Dream has taken flight and is planning on bringing an ''age of infinite prosperity'' throughout the universe, and only Kirby, Meta Knight and the Robobot Armor's Halberd mode stand in the Mother Computer's way...
Yeah, it's safe to say that I love this track. Personally, I especially like when the motif of Taking Over The Halberd kicks in; it just feels so right to me!

Are you able to compile all of the tracks (excluding any early prototype themes or sound effects contained in them) of Kirby Super Star Ultra, Kirby’s Return To Dreamland, Kirby Triple Deluxe, Team Kirby Clash Deluxe, Kirby Star Allies, Super Kirby Clash and Kirby Fighters 2 into separate playlists.
@@matthewlu2644 We'll take a look at other uploads of those, and if we find they aren't up to our quality standards, we'll look into getting the OST in question uploaded. Maybe some day we'll do more Kirby uploads just for the sake of completeness, but I can't promise anything yet. Thanks for expressing your interest!
I've had the Grand Doomer song stuck in my head for 2 YEARS.
five (almost six) minutes of headbanging, foot tapping, leitmotif-ridden, dance-inducing slapping tunes.

there ain't nothing like a good build up!
The fact that nearly the first 20 seconds is simple and harmonious, good thing to do right before the final confrontation.
Undoubtably my favorite theme in the entire franchise. The raw emotions of the battle between Kirby and the mechanizing force of Star Dream is palpable in this ultimate showdown for the ages.
Forgotten Land may be all top-tier, but none can top this pure masterpiece
Nintendo needs to remaster Planet Robobot like they did with Return to Dream Land Deluxe
Kirby planet robobot 2.0.
I’ve heard about how it would be cool if they bundled both Robobot _and_ Triple Deluxe in a remake, and while it seems unlikely that would be *awesome*

Honestly, Haltman has to be one of the most depressing villains in the Kirby series. He created stardream off of ancient blueprints (or something, I’m a bit foggy on the details,) then after loosing his daughter he tried to use stardream to get her back, which resulted in his soul getting eaten, then it ends with the rest of his being being consumed by stardream. Not to mention Susanna came back to an overbearing ceo instead of a father. Gut wrenching if you think about it.
Finally a good version of it, it's one of my favorite final boss themes in the series
"Finally a good version of it"

With all kinds of inaccurate titles of Kirby songs on youtube, it still blows my mind that this theme is quite literally called 'Vs. Star Dream' instead of a fancy name like alot of other modern tracks.
To be fair that's because in the Japanese translation, the song title was originally written in katakana for a more robotic connotation, this aspect was lost in translation
@@ChristopherMoom I feel like this could have been easily done by naming it "Vs_Star_Dream"
@@oqo3310I mean I agree but the translation team didn't share the same sentiments unfortunately 🤷, I personally internally refer to this song with whatever format my mind feels like using (Ex: ">VS_STAR_DREAM", "VS_STAR_DREAM.DSPADPCM")
Wasn't this sing called "Mind in a PROGRAM" at one point?
@@goddessdeedeebubblesofimag7789 No, that is just the name of the 7th area of the game which plays during the whole boss sequence.
I was caught off guard by the 2 planets sounding parts of this way before Forgotten Land, I’m glad they’ve been experimenting with this stuff because it payed off, both in this game and Forgotten Land!
Still has gotta be my favorite final boss theme in a game, it’s urgent, funky, the instruments, especially the orchestral percussion make for a memorable and intimidating finale, or well, an incredible start to one for that matter.
Final boss sure do love putting in little throwbacks to old kirby game soundtracks which is amazing!
the transition on this song at 0:41 is amazing, definitely one of of the best kirby songs coming from a 3ds og.
The tension can be felt strongly from Haltmans backstory, people make lyric songs, from what i would never agree with, but they have full understanding of the song, i love how they manage to make this song and all others loopable again and again, kirby WON a grammy, the top award from music, mario and sonic may be known as the iconic gaming superstars, and kirby may always be in the sidelines, never making to the top, but my does this guy have a influence in everybody, listen to a bossfight song, and youll agree that that this is anything but meaningless,i love the fact that they always manage to put in some parts of the song that started it all, Green Greens, me personally the 3DS was the absolute turning point for kirby, setting him up for the nintendo switch, but if kirby ever makes it to the top well know its because of the satisfyingly good music, easy gameplay, powerups, lore, and morals, people may not notice it, but kirby will rise one day, and we will know why, thanks for reading this

I mean They Kinda already did with void termina Having 2 phases in 3d fot the first time in the series, as well as the implications regarding dark mattee and kirbys origins, And with fecto elfilis just being an absolutely incredible Bossfight with absolutely incredible buildup…
But seeing the halberd rise , Robobot copying the entire ship, seeing “halberd” above your health when you get control again, and seeing not just SD use the entirety Of the games’ finAl world, but said setting being another fucking NOVA still remains one of Nintendo‘s most jaw-dropping experiences on 3DS

What about the final boss theme for Magolor Epilogue?
I go back and forth but right now Roche Limit is my favorite.
This beginning theme especially in the True Arena really sort of feels like this is just the rainfall and the storm has yet to come. The storm are the second, thirth and fourth fases of the 0S fight.
